Where can I get Folia Tec paint at a good price?
Where can I get Folia Tec paint at a good price?
I've finally decided to paint my calipers. With my 17" SSR Integrals, I guess I should have done this much earlier.
I've done a search and it looks like there was a group deal awhile back. Now that the deal is off, where is the best place to get it?
Thanks.

I wonder why this is better than $4.19 engine paint that comes in many other colors.

It probably isn't better. Maybe it's just packaged and has a name. Doesn't that remind you of Stillen.

I just painted my calipers last Sat. with Foliatec. I'll have to see how it stands up to salt & crap from the roads.
Here are my pix:

I've had Red Folia Tec paint since last September...nearly 1 year.
When I spray all the brake dust off the calipers with a hose, they look like I just painted them again.
The Folia Tec paint is a high-temp brush on laquer, and keeps it's color and shine ALOT longer than the $5 paint does.
And if it ever does fade, I have enough left to do them again.
Well worth the $$$.

I'm debating what color to do mine. I was hoping for a dark green to match the exterior of the car, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Anyways, the paint is only $43 at that link for the starter of this thread.

If you go to your local autoparts and buy high temp engine enamel for $3.99 you will do great . I have painted many and it lasted for the life of the car if you prep it right. Buy the way you can do about 10 calipers.
