Are body shops expensive where you live?

Are body shops expensive where you live?
I need to know because here they wanted to charge me $1900 for a small sccratch and dent. $1700 of that was labor charges at 43 /hr. How much do they charge per hour in your state? I might go to another state to get this fixed if I can't find a better deal here.
