From what I know, only 2 belts on a maxima need to be changed.
Is this correct?

I'm takin my car to the dealer tomorrow for a belt job, and I got a quote of $140. I'm assuming that includes parts and labor to replace all necessary belts. This is a dealer that tried to charge me $850 for a brake job. I'm dropping my car off at this dealer because its 5 min away from me and I dont have time to go other places.

 

$140 sounds pretty high. The price of the belts together is like $25, and the labor is approximately one hour. Assuming the dealer marks up 100%, assume $50 for parts, $90 for labor. You've got an expensive dealer.

BTW, I just purchased my belts online and had my mechanic put them on during my 60k service. He charged like extra $20 labor..that's it.
