i beg to differ....i know of someone who has hit 155 with a VE 5speed and he let off. I own a vg 5p and it can hit at least 140 even though the speedo maxes out at 125. check my page. These are 190 and 160 hp cars respectively.

Hey Kloogy, 2 years ago I went to a business trip in LA, I decided to rent a car and drive to Vegas, oh my, it was so fun, in one occasion I was pass by Twin Turbo Callaway Corvette, I was driving around 180km /hr when I got pass, it was like I was standing still and this guy fly by us, my guesstimate is he was driving 250-270km/hr. The ride from LA to Vegas was really fun, to bad I could bring my max. I'm going to Vegas again this year for the NAB show which is in early april, anyway it would be all fun to meet some maxima fellows, also I' m planning after the show to drive up to Tucson, my sister live up there, you know it's kinda strange me canadian citizen to visit my sister which is an american citizen, talking about irony of life.
