way to represent and get some well deserved respect. It's funny how many disbelievers there were. Z2's beating max's daily. What a vivid imagination.

Doesnt sound like he got much respect to me. I mean they all still think it's some sort of fluke. And then half of them still dont believe it.

"The supra must have a boost leak" blah blah

Dang I swear people will give us NO respect. Geez.

Supra's get no respect from Ferarri owners.
Maxima's get no respect from Supra owners.
Honduh owners get no respect from Maxima owners.

I dont know if anyone noticed this or not but in the guys profile that started the post it says he is from "KS" I live here in Colorado and so does Nigel, I dont know how he could have raced someone in Kansas??? Unless the users profile is old. Just a thought, nigel you out there anywhere? If you did beat a Supra then great job

Don't stress it.. I noticed how a lot of the sports car drivers, and especially a good deal of the Supra people seem to think they are own the roads because they drive a Supra. Yea they can reach 600 rwhp without a sweat but they still only run 12 second 1/4 mile passes

Perfect example:
"Yeah thats what i keep saying,a Supra cannot be beaten no matter what happen. The supra that raced the maxima could have been an NA or definately had a boost leak or must be runnig the stock boost Can't believe a maxima beating a Suuuuupra "

What else are those people supposed to say about their "sports car" geting taken down? Let them save face. WHen they get up next to another modded Maxima, and get romped again, eventually they might learn to not judge a book by its cover. I got my a** kicked one time by a little Subaru Justy, that looked like crap, till he popped the hood, and I saw the big ole turbo :-).

Well james, a '95 GXE 5-speed will weigh in at about 2900-3050lbs. Now if that's not light for a 4-door family sedan I don't know what is.

The food chain But that's one of the reasons I like the Maxima. Whenever I tell people what that I'm about to get a Maxima, they usually give me a funny look and say "a Maxima??" Then I say "just wait, you'll see..."

What the deal with the other Videos?

I saw the Turbo maxima one and the one at the track where that max flys off the line and someones saying in the background he red lighted it. I can't figure out the purpose of these videos on the supra forum? I understand the post of the supra racing Nigel, but whats up with the other two. BTW, in Nigels race with the supra did he hit the button at the end or did the supra hit the brakes?

supra is a sports car, a maxima really isn't. that's why it doesn't get any respect.

Sorry about that! I got a little mixed up with three videos on there. Did you spray right as the supra hit the brakes?, cuz I saw your brake lights too right after.
