Has anyone ever installed a rear moonroof on their car?

Actually, if you did this there would be no room for the front sunroof to retract either.

you can't do two fully functioning sunroofs (ie- slide all the way back and such).
but you can do two pop up sunroofs or two sunroofs that tilt up (integra style).
people will flame you on this because its not the norm, so be prepared, a friend of mine has two pop ups on his avenger, if you want pics let me know.

NOT True! You CAN do two fully functional sunroofs on a Max. The rear one HAS to be a spoiler type, (i.e: Grand Prix style.) There's a company here in Indianapolis, IN that will do it for you. They're called Classic Auto Tops of Indy. the idea is that instead of the roof retracting into the headliner, it goes up and over the top of the car, requires no extra space, just the hole that it sits in. There are three different sizes, and the smaller one will definitely fit. The actual aftermarket company that produces the roof is Holandia, (which just happens to be the best aftermarket sunroof on the market), and the cost is around $799 Retail. Check out Holandia and see what you can find in your area!!!!

how much is it to install a sun/moon roof on a car that doesn't have one anyways? has anyone does this if their max didn't come with one? i know some people say it's not a good idea cuz it would leak but i assume if shops still do it, then it'd be fine.

You're right, they'd both have to be spoiler type.
Damn my head hurts this morning....

yeah, about a minute after I posted this I realized that it would never work correctly. I was not shall we say sober at that time and so I would like to take this time out to say I'm sorry to all of those people I have made a little bit dumber.

If you really want to open up your MAXIMA then install an electric ragtop from Street Beat. The bigger size should cover both the front and back of your car. The only drawback is windnoise if you don't install the deflector and if the install is bad you will have water leaking in.
