Chalky Residue from the Track

Anyone else been to the track and have that white marker type liquid put on your windows with your track number on it? I made the mistake of leaving it on for about 3-4 days...and now it is almost impossible to get off with just soap and water. Anyone have and ideas on how to remove that stuff. Scratching doesn't work either. I've tried to go at it with an ice scraper...no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks.

Try soaking it with paint thinner or acetone. Just make sure it doesn't drip on your car! Then try the scraper.

Try spraying it with Windex (or something equivalent) and using a razor blade. Next time don't leave it on for so long, and try some Geddex.

I hate that stuff, you can still see reminents of it on the side of my car from past track experiences. A razor blade will get the bulk of it off fairly easily when you are taking it off a window, but when the chips get on your paint, that's another story. I've yet to find something that will take that off.

Won't that be too harsh on paint?

Your sig pic is classic, you need to blow that up and stick it over your fireplace.
