I hate to sound mean, but if you can't find the filter than maybe you should let a shop change your oil.....

but anyways its located on the rear of the motor, it'll be a cylindrical object, on the '88 it is perpendicularly attached to the motor, pointing straight towards the firewall, twist it off and bingo bango....good luck

Actually, I just tried changing my oil for the first time a few months ago. It took me a quick look at my Service manual to find where it is. I also turned the steering wheel to the right to further gain access. It was straight forward after that. It was all part of the learning process man, and somtimes, finding the oil filter is the hardest part.

If you hate to sound mean, don't say anything then.

Okay man, no need to yell. I don't wanna get on anyone's bad side on the org, so I'm just going to say sorry for getting on your case.

Maybe it's because when a while ago I asked how you guys chirp gears (I started learning stick a month ago) someone said something similar. "If you don't know what that is, they you shouldn't be driving stick" or some similar remark such as that.

Anyway, later man.
