Stay tuned for a description of the 2004 Maxima...

A source of mine will be getting a peek at the new 2004 Maxima in the near future and this person said that they would be sure to let me know as much as they could about the styling, shape, overall feel etc.

Consider yourselves teased.

man i can't wait to either be happy for purchasing a 2k2 or sad because the new styling and power will be a lot more and better kinda like the 00-01 and the 02-03 differences

If i really wanted to be nosey....I could get all the info on the new 6th Gen Maximas. My dad sells metal stamping presses to the Smyrna Plant in Tenn. A good friend of his is very high up the corporate ladder at the plant. A few years ago he told me all the specs on the new Altima.

I'm hoping awd is an option...

My dad got some mail info about the Murano. Since it's based on the same platform, Nissan should at least consider offering awd on the Max too.

I was the one who took those spy shots of the supposed 6th gen. I can't imagine a car that large not being rwd. However, Cadillac always has huge FWD cars so I suppose it's possible, but I couldn't imagine Nissan trying to get away with that, they'd lose too much in sales on that alone.

That class of car is deemed to be RWD.

I love the one guys sig:

NO! You Can't see any pics of my Turbo KLZE, because I blew the car up. I drove around for a few hours-never got out of first gear even. The motor just blew up. What's that? No, I can't show you the parts even, because the shop took them all back. eh? No, I can't tell you the shop name, or go there and take pics because the shop is now destroyed. Somebody burned them up. No evidence left. But I'm NOT a liar!

Thanks for the note, but this person's identity will stay confidential. Besides, I would ask them not to divulge information that may be specific to them anyway to avoid that kind of thing happening.

Sounds like that dude got a bum deal anyway.

i heard that Nissans will primarily be FWDs while infinity will be RWDs. I would place my bet that the new max will stay FWD.
