ok..i've been having this noise in the back of my car for the past few months...after posting the problem on the org, most said to take a ride in the trunk and find out where the noise is coming from and that the metal behind the backseat might be making noise...so i took out the backseat and took a ride while my bro drove...well once i started hearing the noise i stuck my hand thru the little opening that leads to the trunk and the metal plate that is behind the backseat rips the skin off my arm!! i didn't even know that i was bleeding until i looked at my arm..it didn't really hurt at that time, so i just thought it was a little scratch...i ended up with a 5-6inch scrape with my skin hanging off my arm....blood was runing down to my elbow...so my bro drove home...i was ok...i went to wash off my arm and clean it...while i was waiting for my bro to get some scissors to cut off my hanging skin, i was staring at my arm and next i knew..i was waking up off the floor!...i fainted! not cus of blood loss and not cus of all the blood cus i had already washed it off...but for some reason i fainted from jus looking at my cut...the cut was worse while i was stil in the car cus the blood was dripping.

anyway...that metal plate behind the backseat is a big RAZOR BLADE..the edge is sharp all around it...i learned the hard way...i was gonna take that plate off but my bro said just to leave it...it was his fault!

I only passed out once in my life: really low blood sugar level and they took 3 tubes of blood (I'm very small and not even allowed to give blood). It's weird when you wake up!

 

OMG Nam, hope you're ok now. Yeah, you got to be careful. I didn't know that thing was so sharp. I guess when I took it out, I did it slowly and watch what I was doing, so I didn't have the problem you did.

yea....i'm a big whimp...well that's what my dad said hehehe....i;m ok now but the bad part is, i still havemn't found wat was making the noise in my car..and i'm thinking my car will be making that noies for awhile cus i'm not getting back there any time soon

i did the same thing to my thumb...next to the thumbnail...that thing is real sharp...but i healed its all good...im real careful when im near that thing

 

If its a knocking sound you hear, I suggest to remove the upper back seat part and wrap duct tape around the 3 metal hooks that are behind the seat cushions.

 

I have another car kick butt story. My friend was goofing off in the parking lot one time and smashed a carriage by accident. It was headed towards this big dude in a brand new truck! My friend jumped out of the car to chase down the carriage and forgot to put the car in park. The thing kept rolling! We didn't have enough time to climb over the seat and console to step on the brake. You bet, he ran himself over. He didn't get hurt just bumped but it sure was funny.

that "metal thing" that cut you is your sound deadening device for the rear of the car.. when my bags and stereo was getting worked all of that had to be taken out.. let me tell you it sounds funny when you drive with it off and you can hear every rock that skips up under the car.

you can take it, and it wont bite if you dont get in its personal space.
