found my mysterious rattle and i bet you cant guess what it was!

i went to my exhaust shop today to see if they could see any heat shields clanking around because i get a loud "clank" noise whenever i hit bumps. well we coudn't find anything so my mechanic got in the car and we went for a ride. well as we were driving i noticed that when i had my foot on the brake the clank would stop SO we took off my wheel and looked at my caliper. it didnt really feel loose but we did notice that i was getting pretty low on brakes (pads). it seems as though since there isnt as much pad as there should be its causing the caliper to be a little looser. weird eh?
