Accord V6 vs duh Max

I do not usually post kills but this was sweet. I was out looking for a kill and had given up and I was on my way home. Apparently a v6 accord with dealer plates heard my intake and began to follow , so I decided to pass my exit and play around. I waited for traffic to open up and I took 3rd gear up to about 70 which as you 5sp guys know this is the sweet spot and I just waited till he caught up, and at 70 in third you can hardly hear the intake I let him catch up and get side by side (2 lane) and just as he was about to pass me I went WOT and the intake was screaming then I politley walk away from the accord. We caught a light a quarter mile down the road and I got the same question many of you have gotten before (whata ya got in that thing?) I told him just an intake and Y Pipe.

The guy was really excited just as I was saying "pipe" the light turned green and he yelled GO!!! From the very beginning the VQ took the lead, since I have the new cluth I try not to chirp the tires but the chirp kind of put an exclamation in the win I pulled all the way to about 80. Honestly at this point I assumed it was a 4 cylinder becuase I thought the v6 was quicker as I got off the gas I let him pass and acknowledge him and he was all thumbs up and then I saw the V6 badging. After our little run I realized I had driven about 5 miles past my house but it was well worth it. WHAT A CAR........

You would have smoked him stock and you had I/Y. Probably not very pretty for the Accord V6 owner

hmmm...should I link this thread over at AccordV6.com and see if we get any haters?

If he had dual exhaust, he WAS a V6, plus he said it had the V6 badge on it....

I think they make a dual-setup now for the 4 cylinder models too....not that it makes much difference

They have absolutely ZERO low/mid range power. Power doesn't come on until after 4000rpm. There's a nice but brief top-end rush, but even that falls off before redline and is too little, too late. The VQ ownz

I've raced a V6 from a roll and a modded four banger on the highway and both times the Accord were embarassed.
