New 97+ lower valence or grille.....not gutter mesh, shoudl i keep going?

well i started this project just about 30 min ago, im pretty much done excpet for painting it either gunmetal or silver. Im just not sure weather i should continue. It only looks "OK" to me.

Here is what i was planning on doing:

I plan on adding a piece of sheet metal or something similar to the top of it making a horizontal slat which would clear out any imperfections made by my cutting and also adding a slight aggressive stance. Btw it is purposely made to only go halfway up the airdam. Thats pretty much it aside from the paint.

Let me know what u guys think, good or bad let me know.(the grille is white right now)

it just slapped it on right now, its not held on by anything, im proabably gonna trim one more block off to one side to make it more flush. Just wanna get a feel of reactions for now...
