Very interesting. The guy in the Max was obviously toying with him. Even with mods, those neons aren't hard to beat at all. But hey, if he thinks he won, then more power to him. He's gonna be very dissapointed when he comes up against a guy who's not toying with him though!

in his sig, he has 15.601 @ 87.86, now i know some maxima don't run 15.6, so...

15.6 is going to be hard for Maxima w/auto to keep up. I can barely run 15.6. This guy lives around me. I don't think I ever raced a blue neon r/t. I would've remembered =). I'll keep my eyes open for him.

Auto is slow? You must be kidding me, my auto is slow from 0-60, yes, 60-130, oh hell no. Them SI are nice cars, but for them skinny chank, I am a big boned chank, and the car that gives me the most of my ride and comfort is the MAXI.
I had test driven a new Honda before, but it apparently was not according to my taste. What the hey, everybody is entitled to eat their own brand of rice. I just happen to eat mines in a cup or pearl. Oh, how many a times, it annoys me when people say, "hey nice Camry." Then I am like hur!? They must be blinded by her immmense beauty.

Yeah I just cant see how this guy can even say that he beat the max while it was behind him. If you have ever had a car try to mess with you while its in front of you, you have a big disadvantage. You cant really call it a race just because a car that was behind you didnt ran your *** in. Now neons can be hooked up and made pretty damn fast but I just think that this guy is flaming a little more than he should.I know if he's running a 15.6 then I could beat him in my VG auto.

Tony, you have to be able to run a 15.6 w/ your mods. I mean, if me and Ant run 15.6's our first, we can only get better and faster. Just need more practice. I'll be damned when i get my butt spanked by a R/T. I will admit though, they are quick little suckers when you get it in a 5speed w/ the DOHC engine. It's still a mopar though.

Nope, You aren't going to smoke my auto, even when it was completely stock. Sorry, I don't have a 1/4 mile time slip, but my fastest 1/8 mile time stock was 10.087. That should put me at least at 15.6 if not under. Of course we all know that there are Maxima owners that don't know how to drive, and maybe his big heavy rims played apart so it is possible.

 

who cares anyways, Neon are POS, im just suprized they dont fall apart when they hit 65 mph

He states the max is first 2cars behind then 1 car behind then at his passenger door so he shuts it down?? Sounds like he got "walked" and then shut down in the nick of time.. In this case the max clearly won since it was never a side by side race but a race where the max can't accelerate until the R/T does..
