Hey! How's everyone doing? I'm a Newbie

How's everyone doing? I'm a Newbie in terms of being an actual member, I've been floating on this site for some time now and finally decided to join, kinda dumb timing considering that I leave the country at the end of August. But in any case, my first car was a Silver 1987 Maxima with straight pipes. One of the best cars I ever had, I abused the crap out of it and it kept on giving. Then I had a 1992 Acura Integra and now a 1994 BMW 325i. I still love Maxima's though. So I'm hoping to be a helpful member even though I don't own a Maxima anymore. Check out the other sites that I frequent if you want.

www.DTMPower.net
www.Bimmermods.com
www.Benzsport.com

My username is the same on those sites, so hit me up if you want. Just to warn you though, Some of the people on DTM tend to sling the word "rice" around without knowing the true meaning. I personally hate the word, but that might be cuz I'm Asian. In any case, I love this site and again, hope to be a helpful memeber.

Thanks for all the greetings.

AndyXXL- Are you a member of any of the BMW boards that I metioned? If not, you should join, especially DTMPower.net.

Yes, I'm a member at DTMpower but I don't post there, just lurk. I post on E46fanatics and Roadfly.org.

Wow, Roadfly? I started there but things got way out of hand there that I had to leave. I had my membership and IP address denied for no reason and after I contacted about the mistake, they fixed it but then it kept happening. Oh well, I'm just glad to be gone from there.

Agree, Roafly.org got worse. All they have is a bunch of arrogant morons with no respect to others, and somehow they're proud of it.
Bimmerfest.com is more appealing to me now.

Bimmer is my daily driver. My second car, most likely 350Z track edition, will definitely be manual.

Yeah, mine's an auto but that's because it's a hand me down so I had no choices of the transmission. Trust me though, I will rectify that eventually. Most BMW E36 owners do a manual Tranny swap, I'm thinkin about going forced induction with the auto tranny even though I know that it won't last. I'm hoping that with the proper heat shielding and a cooler for the oil and tranny oil. Our auto transmissions are POS GM units that cannot handle HP or Torque. One of the reasons that I find this site so interesting is that I see some people with suto's running forced induction.

Welcome to the ORG!

Looking forward to your posts. Just because you leave the country, doesn't mean you're short lived here. Hey, it's the intenet. Good to have some out-of-Country perspective.
