I have a ratchet set already and I know I will need to buy a spring compressor but what else should I pick up?

19MM 1/2 inch drive 6 point socket with breaker bar. Lower strut bolts
17MM Box end wrench to hold the other side of the strut bolts
22MM or 27?? (depends on year) socket for the 3 strut mount bolts.
And a torque wrench to tighten them up again
10MM socket or box wrench for ABS line.
17MM or 15?? deep socket for the strut shaft bolt.
Spring Compressor and the necessary tool to crank that puppy down.

Somebody correct my sizes if I'm wrong!!!

A long pipe to slip over your ratchet or breaker bar to give you added leverage to loosen the strut to steering knuckle bolts. I used the jack handle from my lift which is 3-4 feet long. A torque wrench is a must for the strut mounting bolts and the strut piston bolt. The strut to steering knuckle bolts require 103-117 ft. lbs of torque. Most 3/8" torque wrenches do not go that high.

WD-40 or Liquid Wrench for the touch bolts, and maybe some silicon spray for the spring compressrs if they bind on the springs or something.

dont get a 19MM deep socket you will need a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter or a 1/2 socket 17MM socket to use on your breaker bar, you can use a set of pliers or a adjustable wrench to hold the 19MM bolt. But then again I dont know what size is the top nut on your strut mount so make sure you get that covered.
