The Maxaholics Anonymous 12 Step Program

1. We admitted we were powerless over our Max - that our lives, and our cars, had become inseperable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. That power is "Stillen"

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of our Maxima as we understood Him.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our mods.

5. Admitted to Warpspeed, to ourselves and to the .Org the exact nature of our Maxima.

6. Were entirely ready to have Hekimian Racing remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked our mechanic to install our short shifter.

8. Made a list of all persons who had rice, and became willing to make roadkill of them all.

9. Made 120MPH fly-bys to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure us or get the cops on our tails.

10. Continued to take financial inventory and when we had group deals promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with racing slicks as we understood drag racing, praying only for knowledge of cheap, light 17's for us and the cash to carry them out of the store.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to
Maxaholics and to practice these principles in all our affairs/races.

Nope, not powerless.

Hellllll no!

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of our Maxima as we understood Him.
Again ... nope... and cars are female.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our mods.
Ummm ... nope.

5. Admitted to Warpspeed, to ourselves and to the .Org the exact nature of our Maxima.
Huh? But I'm gonna go with "No" on this one just because.

6. Were entirely ready to have Hekimian Racing remove all these defects of character.
Nay.

7. Humbly asked our mechanic to install our short shifter.
Pfffft ... why pay when one can do it himself?

8. Made a list of all persons who had rice, and became willing to make roadkill of them all.
Sad to see you would want to roadkill some of your fellow Maxima owners.

9. Made 120MPH fly-bys to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure us or get the cops on our tails.
Errr... no. And the cops thing wouldn't stop some people. They'd just go faster.

10. Continued to take financial inventory and when we had group deals promptly admitted it.
Cause we all cheap and won't buy anything unless it's a group deal.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with racing slicks as we understood drag racing, praying only for knowledge of cheap, light 17's for us and the cash to carry them out of the store.
Obviously, nobody uses the search function and have to resort to thinking up theories on their own.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to Maxaholics and to practice these principles in all our affairs/races.
Cause we have to tell everyone we meet that we actually don't drive family sedans, we actually, drive a super-doper fast "four door sports car".

Again, I've said this before, the number one factor about the max is the cheap price, new or used. 21k new, 8995 4 years old. No way you can get that HP for the price. You couldn't even buy a decent newer Toyota or Honda for those $ amounts.

But to be powerless to a Max, that's not cool. It's like aspiring to graduate from high school. Sure, it's something, but why sell yourself short? There is so much more to life than a Nissan product. Aim for the stars, aspire for something worthwhile. In the meantime, drive that paid-for Maxima into the ground, you'll be saving mad cash along the way.

Clee!

Play nice! The man was just waxing philosophical on us!
He was just spreadin' his Maxima addiction in a creative way.
Plus, it might make a nice start for treatment because of the looks we get from our wives/girlfriend/relatives/dog/fish and the envious neighbor!

Cut a little slack.
"Cause we all cheap and won't buy anything unless it's a group deal."
Pricelessly true!!!!

Hehehe, I wrote that up when I was talking to a couple people about a 12 step program...
I took the wording from AA and just changed it to make relevant, so... to all the non-believers
BTW, Clee, that has to be one of the funniest responses I've gotten to that!

Clee, denial is usually the first sign...
