Find a place that has the "T-Tech" machine. They rock. The cars tranny pump does the work. You can see the old and new fluid being displaced in the machine. I think Jiffy Lube has them.

25K seems pretty soon unless you drive really hard. How many years is it? What does the manual recommend? (I have a 5 spd) If the fluid smells like moth ***** for sure do it!

Re: Re: Pepboys 's Transmission flush

90% of my driving is city milages, I am just concern that it have been 4 years and this will be the first time that I change transmission oil, my gxe is auto..I don't drive really hard, but I drive a 1/4mile every morning (to drop my kids to the babysitter) without "really" warming the engine. I also have a small "cling" sound went I change gear from drive to reverse.

I'd go to Jiffy lube...one of the best things I ever did to my car!...about the same price too...
