There is no time limit really, I would recommend getting the kit as soon as possible since you never know, like his supplier might have to increase the prices and things of that nature. Just to play it safe e-mail him and ask him directly he's real cool.

Installation is not hard at all, it's plug and play really. It comes with very good installation instructions. The only kit that is a little more complex is the H4 which isn't very hard really. I say that it is hard since each bulb comes with a diode, there is an arrow on this diode. The diode looks like a fuse. If the first attempt of using the Xenon doesn't work then just switch the diode around so the arrow points the other way and it should work, until now I never had to switch them, they've always worked but the installations instructions has more detailed instructions about this diode in it. Other than that I've done H1, H3, H4, 9004, and 9006 installations without a problem. The color on these kits are very consistent. You shouldn't run into any problems but you must make sure you don't get hurt in the process, if not sure how to do it, get it professionally done.

I was just wondering, does anyone know if the 7500l crystal blue HIDS are legal? I want to get them so bad and for $400 shipped thats almost a steal, but I dont' want to have to be paying tickets because they are illegal, I do admit they are pretty blue, at least thats what the pics look like. Also, how long will the maxima.org members be having this "deal". I plan on getting the kit for sure but I'm gonna wait no more than a month. ANyways thanks

I think it would be best to use the ballast provided in the kit. Plus the connection might be different from stock connections.

That's not possible when using a 9004 HID kit. The only kit that has the low beam and high beam feature is the H4 HID kit. The way the kit works is that it has a like a glass which moves up to reflect and make the beam higher resulting in a high beam. That's the only thing people complain about HID kits is not havng a high beam but they're much brighter than stock and look much better.

Is there any word on possible dual beam application for the other sizes? I want to keep the high beams on my Altima (9007).

I don't think so, when you turn on the Xenon it charges up. If you turn on the Xenon's on and off it goes into a safety mode and won't turn until a few minutes after. You would need a reflector in order to make the high beam work but the only kit that comes with that reflector is the H4 kit.

I know. I was just wondering when a dual beam application would become available for the other sizes.

I talked to the dealer and he said that he did not have access to the lumen rating on the lights and that it would be difficult to get from the manufacturer...I still want some though, these lights look waaaaay too bad ***...

Hey, guys, I received my kit a few days ago and installed it. Everything went smooth but...one of the lights was dead so during the process of removing it, I cracked one of the 3 prongs . I am working with Option Motor to buy another light since the light was damaged which was not covered by warrantee. I am happy with my one blue eye -- I am still waiting for my other eye . I am still happy with the kit because all the wiring is of good quality with black wire propectors around each wire. The installation took about 40 minutes per side.

Since you just got your kit maybe you can answer some questions for us
Does all of your equipment look like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1850282878

How do the ballasts connect to the wiring harness (i.e. splicing, or a connecting harness)?

What brand bulbs come with the kit?

Pictures would be great as well because I'm trying to decide which kit to buy. Right now I'm between this kit, Hanabi, and Phillips.

Optionmotor is the same person as in those auction. No splicing is required, everything is a connection that plugs in. All you have to is find a place where to mount the ballast and once you do that for both sides it should be easy, just follow the instructions manual provided in the kit. This kit is really a plug and play kit. The kit in the picture is exactly what he should've received. The brand of the bulb I do not know. Contact optionmotor@yahoo.com and he may be able to answer most of your questions since he sells these kits.

My kit is very similar to that but my bulb is H4 dual beam. No splicing required, maybe a few more tiewraps to make everything tidy. The bulb manufacturer???, I have to go home and look at my broken bulb at home to tell you that. Just like D-sta said, the kit is plug and play with some hard wiring to your battery positive terminal. I hope is answers your question.

That doesn't sound like plug and play to me :P To me plug and play means there is a female socket that attaches to the OEM bulb connectors (like the Phillips kit). If there is any extra wiring required it's no longer plug and play. I don't mind extra wiring, but you should describe the kit accurately. The Hanabis require wiring too.

Here's a response I got from optionmotor:
"Hi Hype,
The kit is plug and play kit, and the bulbs made by Hella . "
I think I'll end up going with this kit because I'd rather have white light (4800K) than blue.

Everything is plug and play but the catch is you have to supply an external 12 volt to the ballast. That is achieved by connecting a supplied wire to your positive battery lead. No big deal - all you do is unscrew your battery terminal (you don't even have to unplug it) and attach the wire. That's it. No splicing or dicing involved. I hope that explains it more for you.

I think it's pretty simple, I've done many installations. No splicing or modification ever to the kit is required.

Bi-xenon and projector stuff

Anyone considered converting the HB3/9005 light used as the high beam in the 2k2 light assembly to HID? Am I the only one noticing that there does not seem to be any HID conversion kits for this type of light?(HB3/9005) From looking at the back of the assembly and some quick measurements it seems like I could just move the existing HID D2r's into the HB3 housing and just buy an upgrade for the low beam HID's. I was also looking around at the HID forums and was intrigued by the projector conversions. Has anyone added an elliptoid lense or a multifacet lense to their HID's? Anyone besides me wanting projector lamp HID?

Any input would be appreciated.
