Vitek Clutches (For '89-01) (Price Reduction!)

If anyone is interested, I've got a bunch of Vitek Stage IV clutches in stock and ready to ship. These are a 4 puck sprung hub design and will hold a lot of power, SC, nitrous, turbo, etc. Unlike the ACT 6 puck clutch, these are a sprung hub design. That eases the shock on the driveline so you don't have to worry about the tranny failure associated with the 6 puck ACT's. For reference, the Vitek 6 puck unsprung hub clutch is a race only clutch and is marketed as such, you would not want to drive it on the street.

With the sprung hub design, drivability is very good, and the pedal feel isn't too heavy.

Each Vitek clutch system comes with clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing and clutch alignment tool. Each pressure plate is a NEW OEM (not rebuilt) reworked unit that offers 30% more clamping power and is matched to the clutch disk.

Retail price on these clutches is $545.00

My price for the .org is $335+shipping (was $365+shipping). Shipping runs $23 anywhere in the US.

Email me at sales@ap-signworks.com if interested.

Nobody has this clutch locally, in a Maxima anyways. We shipped a bunch out, but no local sales.

Yes, we are in Atlanta. You can pick it up, just give us 1 day to get one over here and on the shelf.

Yes, both Stage I and Stage II clutches are also sprung hub. The solid hubs are only on Stages 5 and 6.

These clutches are made from brand new Valeo parts, nothing is remanufactured.

Stage I clutch is $295+shipping (Retail $512.55), this is a full face kevlar/organic disc. Good for minor bolt ons, long life and stock drivability.

Stage II clutch is $320+shipping (Retail $599.15, this is a full face kevlar disc. This clutch will last practically forever.

There is currently no Stage III, they no longer make them.

Killing gears has to do with how you drive too. However whats the warranty on these clutches? I might be interested...but I dont think I see the clear advantage over an act please explain....

The warranty is 90 days, same as ACT. But Vitek has taken care of some of my customers 4 months later also. Is there a clear advantage over an ACT? I can't really answer that question.

The Viteks are not made from reman. parts as ACT is, the Stage IV will hold more power than the ACT Street, and the warranty is the same.

I'm not going to say that you won't blow up your tranny, I don't know that. We don't even know if it's the ACT that causes 3rd gear failures, but it's kind of coincidental that almost all tranny failures had ACT clutches. The sprung hub on the Vitek eases a lot of driveline shock so that will help, but driving patterns has a lot to do with tranny life too.

I just got some new info from Vitek regarding these clutches. Apparently they're rated for more power than I origally thought. Here are the numbers

Stage I- 360 ft/lb torque
Stage II-395 ft/lb torque
Stage IV-469 ft/lb torque

That's what they're rated to handle. So it looks like the Stage I with the full face organic street disc would be the best choice for most. Or the Stage II with the kevlar disc. I don't think many of us here have enough power for the Stage IV.
