Broadway rear-view mirrors GD

I'm posting a new thread just to get the word out...

I was able to get some kind of a group deal going on the mirrors...

bascially you just enter maxima.org as the code, and it should give you a discount on any broadway mirror. I've had a member mention that he's called them and he got a discount right on the phone.

here is the message I got from the representative at TG Race Designs:

----------

Sorry it took so long, we are in the process of moving over all our parts to our new name because people were getting confused about TG Race Designs since TG is widely known for graphics and we have 2 locations and 2 phone numbers, so we opened up a new company and had to add products and test the site and so on, but here is the coupon, the coupon is: maxima.org

The website is www.sixautoworks.com, you can also go to www.tgracedesigns.com and the link directs to the new one, or here is the direct link you should put on the maxima.org post I guess:

http://www.sixautoworks.com/catalog....php?cPath=6_98

well hope this still happens, we tried making the cheapest price possible, shipping is based off the USPS and UPS shipping engines and the weight on the mirrors, we set to only 3 oz’s so we trying to make everything as straight as possible, if you guys can find a cheaper price for mirrors, let us know also, we are curious who will make the mirrors cheaper than us

---

I hope this GP wasn't a total disappointment...I got a code, don't really know how much you save with it. Also, I highly suggest being patient again and using the USPS First Class Mail...the cheapest shipping option. That way, you can maximize savings. Thanks for all of your patience.

Oh that's cool. Hopefully, we'll be able to generate a little bit of business for him.

Hey Turdz, on their web page they dont have any discription of the mirrors (how the image is affected). But after reading your other thread I have a good idea. Except for the blue mirror! Have you seen them?

I have a 270mm convex and there is just enough clearance for both sun visors to swing all the way without touching the Broadway mirror.

Just thought I'd let people know, I picked up the 'clear blue' broadway mirror a couple weeks back. http://www.sixautoworks.com/catalog/...roducts_id=925

Unfortunatley b/c its convex the day/night switch will not work in the night setting. I'm kinda pi$$ed about that, so at night I just flip the switch anyway and dont use the mirror.

The clear blue is nice, it would have been worth getting if it was in a flat mirror.

I've got a Broadway Convex 270mm, and I've seen many other convex and flat ones, but the issue with the day/night switch doesn't have to do with the fact that is it convex.

In a stock mirror, there is a slightly tilted lens in front of a mirror, which lets you have the option of tilting it for a "night setting" where the main mirror reflects about 80% of the light and the lens reflects 20%, giving you a setting that reflects less light. Unfortunately due to the extra tilted lens, this setting is the reason that many stock mirrors seem "fuzzy" or reflect parts of the interior of your car, due to the lens doing its job and reflecting 20% of the light from a different direction.

Personally, with a convex mirror and 50% tint on the rear window, headlights don't give me much of any problem. But it's something you trade off, a super clear mirror, or a night setting.
