Same here...and I bought it six months ago. They said the only one then was the same one that was on ebay. I ask specifically, because I wanted the ACT, but couldnt afford it. They quoted the one I bought as 20% above stock.

This clutch has to be newer than 6 months, because 6 months ago, the eBay on is all they had.

Humm...

MaxxTuning do you have anything in response to this? Like specific direct knowledge as to these not being the Ebay one (for a $100 less too)?

Because if these turn out to be those OEM type replacement ones like on Ebay I'm not interested...

I believe the ones listed on Ebay from my research are OEM replacements, not the stage 1. The OEM replacements are stated to have 20% more clamping force than the original. The Stage 1's are a performance clutch, and they have 36% more than original.

Yeah I get that but what I'm saying is that unless these clutches are newly released then these must be the OEM replacement ones.

I just kinda wanna know for sure sure

If the OEM replacements have 20% more clamping force than original, and the Stage I are 36% more, is it really worth the extra $100? My current clutch (original w/ 135k) slips when I shift too quickly and i have to rebuild/replace my tranny. If I dont absolutely need to spend the extra $$, then I'll just end up getting the OEM one. Then the extra money can go to the tranny. Times are tough these days.

These are not ther ones on Ebay. These are the performance line of Exedy (Part# 06-803 - if you want to do some research). The ones on Ebay are stock clutches that retail for close to $135.00. The Performance ones we're selling retail for $420-$425.

It should be close to the ACT, which was fine to me, I actually prefer the pedal to be a little bit stiffer than stock, but it shouldn't feel too much different from stock, except it won't slip!

Alright guys... we got our 10. We'll be available to take payments now. Once those 10 payments are received we will order these clutches and have them to you in a week-week and a half.

We don't have Paypal. We accept Visa/Mastercard over the phone or Money Orders/Certified Bank Checks as long as their sent priority mail so that it doesn't take long to get to the store because then everyone will have to wait longer.

Sweet! I'll have to see if I can have my parents put it on their card, since I dont have one right now, and if not, I'll have to wait till I get my check on Friday or Sat to send it MO, cause the motor is ordered and being shipped, so I'll need this ASAP!!!

Oh, and a small request from everyone in the Group Deal. PLease pay as soon as you can! I'm in desparate need of a clutch in the next week or so to be in the hands of my mechanic so he can finish my car repairs! Thanks!
