no i haven't talked to adam i have been dealing with shawn. He told me the way it works there is you offer up a group buy then it goes to the floor manager and he/she gives the go or no. But if you think Adam can get this done for us give him a call, maybe putting pressure on that manager from 2 different people would help

I am also in. At the number of people we have, it should be pretty reasonable.

Thanks,

Matt

List updated on Page 3. We have 30 people interested now and that's from Maxima.org alone. We should get a pretty good price for this.

update 3:

well i finally got word from stillen here the letter they sent me:
good day marc,

hi...shawn , here. how are things ?

first of all , i want to thank you for your intrest in the stillen products , and the offer to put together a
group buy for the battery braces.

i have reviewed the deal with the floor manager , and the quantites that you are suggesting on the " buy " .

he has stated at this time , that their will be no stillen parts available for any type of group buy or quantity discount.

i aploigize for the inconvience in this matter , but he has the final word.

this is way i was so careful with you on the requested part and the effort you are putting forth on trying to make it happen.

i don't want for you to end up as the bad guy , and of course , i would like to stay in your good graces as well.

so , with that , i really don't have any other options at this time .

i wish i had a better and more positive answer for you , but again , i'm the low guy on the totem pole.

hopefully you can understand my postion and situation.

thank you for your time , patience and understanding in this matter.

yours in service,

Shawn
And we get this after we have 60+ people interested. What S#!t. What do they want to do make an arm and a leg like gas prices.
sorry everyone

I've emailed Adam Hume yesterday to see if there was any way he could help. However, this was before the email message that SE Racing posted. Maybe it will help, maybe it won't, but we'll see.

I mean they probably use scrap stock to make them. Then charge 40 bones for something they used to recycle it's no wonder they don't want to drop the price. As cheap as these things are to make they should throw them in with orders over $500 for free. I bet if you do drop some coin with them Adam or Shawn would throw one in.

Of course there is always the power play idea. State the number of maxima.org members there are and if the mods and owners go for it, put a no buy banner with regard of Stillen products. Although they do have great looking products, I refuse to keep spending high dollar.

This is unbelievable!!!!!

I say that we boycott ALL Stillen products. They do not deserve our $$$$. Southwest Autoworks will give us a good deal on theirs. I would rather them have the $$ because they are good people.

TAKE ME OFF THE LIST SILVERSLEEPER. Thanks for your efforts, but there is no hope for a company that is not for the consumer!

FU#K STILLEN!
