TAKE ME OFF THE LIST SILVERSLEEPER. Thanks for your efforts, but there is no hope for a company that is not for the consumer!

FU#K STILLEN!

that sounds good... we should ask for GD from southwest autoworks... i'm sure they are more then willing to work out a great deal with this many people wanting them....

Ask Kevin to make one up that says Maxima.org.

I'd rather support Kevin and this site than Stillen.

Guys,

I just got a response from Kevin. He said it would cost way too much to produce maxima.org tie downs that will look like Stillen's.

So no go ... he did however say that it may happen in the future ... the far future!

You ask him .. bet yet .. why not just get it from SWA? He supports maxima.org by advertising on here and providing great deals for all of us. To be honest ... I don't think Kev is that interested given the cost of these suckers.

Dead Deal

I pulled this off of the message where this deal started. This was a message from Stillen dated 03/08/2003

http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthrea...0&pagenumber=2

final update
well i finally got word from stillen here the letter they sent me:
good day marc,

hi...shawn , here. how are things ?

first of all , i want to thank you for your intrest in the stillen products , and the offer to put together a
group buy for the battery braces.

i have reviewed the deal with the floor manager , and the quantites that you are suggesting on the " buy " .

he has stated at this time , that their will be no stillen parts available for any type of group buy or quantity discount.

i aploigize for the inconvience in this matter , but he has the final word.

this is way i was so careful with you on the requested part and the effort you are putting forth on trying to make it happen.

i don't want for you to end up as the bad guy , and of course , i would like to stay in your good graces as well.

so , with that , i really don't have any other options at this time .

i wish i had a better and more positive answer for you , but again , i'm the low guy on the totem pole.

hopefully you can understand my postion and situation.

thank you for your time , patience and understanding in this matter.

yours in service,

Shawn
And we get this after we have 60+ people interested. What S#!t. What do they want to do make an arm and a leg like gas prices.

Since Stillen wont do anything maybe we can get a group deal someplace else on Battery tie down plus with this kind of interest we should really get a cheap price . I know its not Stillen but think it will add a nice touch anyway. So with that maybe someone can put together another deal...

I had been waiting to hear from Adam Hume at Stillen for a little while and received a reply early this week but I'm just now getting around to posting it. Basicly he didn't want to step on anyones toes in the process.

"Hi Zane,

I re-checked on doing this deal for cheaper, but really haven't got anywhere bud.

We may want to revisit this later on once the product demand mellows out. We can't keep these in stock right now!

Sorry man,

Keep in touch

-Adam"

I spent $35 on Southwestautoworks tie down. At least I was helping out a fellow .orger.

I think that tie down looks better than my chrome tie down.

Wait until you see the NISMO one go for $150-$200, since the oil cap is like $90.
