You can buy them off ebay and go through the hassle of wondering whether the person you are buying froom is legit or you can buy them from someone you know is legit and has given the maxima community awesome deals for years now! Take your pick, I know who my pick would be hands down! Alex!!

spritns = 2" drop, wonderful look, ride is descent but not the best... it is a lot bumpier than stock but all dropped springs are....

hmm 2" all around sounds nice...just a couple more questions, you wouldnt have happen to have ridden on Progress springs have you? just wondering about comparison
but i have a 2-finger gap front and 1.5 finger gap rear looking to cut that down to about 1 or even 0.5 all and im thinkn Sprint should be able to do that
and performance wise?
sorry for all the ?s, but i appreciate you or anybody being able to help me decide
and they fit on agx's so thats a definite +

I'm considering the Sprints vs Progress as well. Let me know if you come up with anything, MaxedOut2g.

Sprint springs own. I dont have one complaint about them. I've been on stock struts for almost 6 months now.

Why not Teins? BC the drop in the front is maybe a little to drastic for me. I have the Stillen Aero on my car and I don't want to have to drive too much like a b1tch to keep from scraping. Also, with Tein's drop, I've read there aren't very many available struts that can sustain it... for very long. I certainly don't want to shell out another $3xx for struts and find out they're blown barely after 8k miles. I'd be pist (Steve's been riding on his stock struts /w Sprints for a while now with no problems!). And lastly, the Tein's give an uneven drop. While I do prefer Tein's uneven drop to Eibach's uneven drop (Eibach is lower in rear than in front), I'd rather have an even drop like the Sprints give.

I have two big concerns with the Sprints: ride quality and how the rear springs will hold up when I have two passengers in the rear. I've read that the ride quality isn't the best, but isn't that bad either. I don't really know what that means. But hey, *shrug* there aren't very 5th gen's with Sprints. And the second part, I have friends ride in the backseat a lot and I'm concerned about having the "I-have-10-cement-blocks-in-my-trunk-look" to my Maxima and bottoming out EVERYWHERE! I really want to avoid this.

good arguments...making me feel better bout not getting TEINs...forgot about the whole shocks issue..but for me, i want to be as low as i can, without paying like 1200 for coilovers
but i have been talking to Southwest auto and the springs should be here soon next week and installed next weekend and once theyre on i WILL let you know

Alex...are you stealing these springs or something that you can afford to sell them this cheap?

Just wanted to say a great person/company to buy from and great customer service!

just wanted to let you guys know. Sprints are NOT an even drop, I think you're confusing them with dropzones. I've had sprints on my car previously, and there's about a 3/4 inch difference in the front to rear wheel gap.

Interesting... I dunno. I'm just going by what I've read on the .org and on websites of shops who sell the Sprints. Everyone advertises either a 2" drop all around or a 1.8" drop all around. I believe Y2KSteve told me it was an even drop on his 2000 as well.

Hm, hey seximagtr, is your car M/T or A/T? Do you have a sub in the trunk? Perhaps this could account for the 3/4" difference. Either way, I'd be extremely suprised if the front and rear were PRECISELY the same drop.

First of all the Teins drop 2.2 in the frond just 0.2 more then sprints so I dont think struts holding out are gonna be a problem, Woo Cho has had the Teins on his KYB GR2's a while now w/o any problems. I also have the stillen aero kit and the sprints, yet alone the Teins make me worry about scraping. Im most probably gonna give in to the GD on the GR2's for now til I decide otherwise. Steve's car rides great with the sprint's, not too bumpy or anything that I can tell, just lower and a bit more stiff.
Btw id recommend Alex/SWA to most any1 his customer service is great.

I think you guys need to stop whoring up Alex's GD thread...make another thread to post ?'s. As for springs that give u the most even drop, that would be "eibachs".

Thanks Igor. I don't know why, and I don't know how, but some people's Sprints make the Maxs sit even, and some don't. Like Y2KSESteve's car, for example, sits perfectly even. Some I've seen have a huge rake in the front vs back. Honestly, I suggest everyone go out and check the condition of their struts, bump stops, as well as upper mounts, as any of those items, if worn out, would cause an uneven height/drop.

Thanks
Alex

Nice. It's still going to be a couple weeks before I have the funds to spare to buy these things. I hope 5 sets last that long?
