Just an FYI on Wheelmax...Wheelmax has not been the dealer for Axis since Nov'02. The prices on their site are for last ones and twos and those prices are at or below cost. Please call and see for yourself. I just felt the need to share this info with those that are interested in this deal but are going off of Wheelmax's site to get better pricing.

PICS of 19" Axis Se7en Mod

Here's a pic of my car at a Northwest Nissans BBQ Meet last month. I'm rolling on 19x8 Axis Se7en Mod with Nitto 555 245/35/19 rubber. My car is lowered on stock shocks with Maxspeed springs. Not the greatest picture, but it gives you an idea...

No closer shots right now. Weather sucks in Seattle, so it's hard to catch my car on clean

These are the regular lip...not the Maxis lip. I figured it would be better this way, because then I can easily rotate my wheels/tires front to back. If you have the Maxis lip, you will have to dismount/mount the tires when you want to rotate. Your car will look silly with the deeper dish in the front, if you don't do that.

thats what I was thinking of doin just making sure you are allowed to get all the same size lip wheels. I think I will be getting these one I come up with the funds.

Big H did you ever come up with anything on the tires. I wanted nitto nt555 but what else is available? 245-40-18 that is thanks

Hold on you guys lost me here, you need a specific tire to be able to fit on the mod se7en? or any 245/40/18 is good to go on the 18X8? Kinda in a bit of confusion here. If any brand 245/40/18 size works then blubyu2k2 why dont you try searching on something like www.tirerack.com or www.discounttiredirect.com for some good prices. I personally have the YoKohama AVS ES100's on my ride but im still rollin stock SE wheels at this time. I was gonna get 19's but gonna use the cash for more upfront on a 2k3 6spd (If I ever have time to go buy it )

Triple8Sol- one thing you said kinda got me wondering as well, exactly why would you have to dismount the tire if you had maxis lip in order to rotate em?

Hi hitman..I guess the main thing is if I can provide a mounted and balance pkg it would be less hassle for the customer. But if anyone wants to get rubber from tireack (which would be easier for me and plus they offer free shipping!!)or anywhere else, than do so by all means. Axis is not exactly offering me the rubber at a steal, in fact some place probably have the rubber for less, but my price is mounted and balanced and shipped. I dunno... what ever the coustomer wants I guess.
Having the Maxis Lip in the rear and normal Mods up front will give the car a staggered look, kinda deep dish in the rear. As for the Maxis Lip, since the rear would have a deeper lip, Triple would have to dismount all the rubber and re mount them. You can't exactly take the Maxis Lip and place them up front and vice versa because the fronts would now have a deep dish look...does that make sense? LOL!

Yeah I know Axis isnt give jack for discount on tires (I know ) Tirerack does offer no shipping but if you do the math no matter what tire you go with the $ is the end is within $5 of discount direct. I can get some good prices on tires but I need a 10grand buy in so id need to do a major GD but the problem with that is that its for only one specific brand and the cash would have to be upfront in order to do this (Im not gonna buy and shelf $10K in tires, I got better things to spend it on, I got a business to run!)

The Maxis lip thing makes sense now, I though the maxis lip was a big @ss lip all the way around, I didnt think it was more lip in the back, blah 4get that. It would look weird anyway.

Unless you got all 4 as the Maxis lip, but I think to have the deeper dish, it also would mean there is a different offset.

Nope, I have an email saying it would not be a different offset if you go to Maxis Lips all the way around.
