Re: *KYB GR2* 5th Gens The Group Buy is Here

Hey guys, we need just one more. Looks like I made a mistake and skipped #6 in the original post back on pg1. I have some very good news. People who live in CA and near Sun City (I am told about an hour drive from downtowan LA) can just pick their orders and save on shipping once they come in. Good thing is there are some in stock today that can be picked up for the group rate. Come'on... help get just one more.
Thanks,
Ralph

Thats excellent. Now, only one of you need to make the trip or you guys can go together. If you dont mind being a little patient I will get the rest of the info. Try to keep in mind I am working on this GD while still working a normal job (even if second shift) and a married life. Not easy as it sounds.

still on?

Is the group deal still on??

I want a set, so count me in if there's a spot.
Then there's the shipping charge......I live in Canada, and I'll be fine if they are willing to sent it via USPS as a 'gift under $XX' UPS will charge me around US$40 (not bs..)when it reaches my home.

Or, can someone pick it up for me and sent it personally? I'll pay every penny! Thanks again!! will watch this thread closely..

I also want to get in this deal if I can. I live in California in Orange County so I am willing to make the drive. My e-mail is sangim80@hotmail.com keep me posted on what you need from me.

Another question, I own Tokico blues with H&R springs and only have 3500-4000 miles on them. I am going to change the springs and the strut to TEIN and KYB GR-2. To me the Tokico blues does not absorb the shock very well, and love the ride quality of the H&R, but want a lower drop. How is the KYB GR-2 compared to Tokico blues as far as the absorbing the shock and the ride quality.

If anyone want to buy the strut or the H&R send me an
e-mail.

I35 ->This thread will answer your very specific question. Click here. Welcome to the org and yes you are the last one to make it to this group deal. I will send you instructions on how to pay. Thanks
Leungjc78 and I35 and the last two people we needed. Thanks.
Also I35, please create a new thread to sell your items. I want to keep this thread strictly for the sole purpose of this group deal. Thanks!

hey guys... I got some questions on my PM I just thought I'll post here so I dont have to answer them separately.
I have some questions for you real quick:
1. Once we submit the payment to you, will you be submitting all the orders yourself to the shop offering the group deal?
Yes, once I receive all payments I will then have the order placed. I will find out if there are enough in stock to fulfill all 10. If not, then local people in CA will have the chance to pick their orders up. You must keep in mind only the bulk order is offered at this rate. For the record, I did speak to the distributor today and confirm local pick up ok. Retail for the Gr2 is $338+ shipping at his place.
2. Approximately how long will it take to receive the orders?
Depends on when everyone pays and what stock is available when the order is placed. As of today there were 12 GR-2 available.

3. Is there anyway we can combine shipping for 2 seperate orders?
Absolutely, in fact thats a preference. It cuts downs on the sshipping cost. Please let me know if anyone wants to combine shipping. Local ppl in NY/CT/NJ are welcome to pick their orders up.

Shipping Estimate

Ok- since I have my own set of GR2 sitting at home uninstalled I just weigh it and estimate UPS ground shipping. The box is 33lbs and based on UPS zone charts the most expensive shipment is $24. Some as low as $13 and that depends on how it is packed. Last time I had to buy boxes from UPS and that costed me $. I will do better this time.
For leungjc78, I will send yours out USPS as a gift. My gift to you .

Guys, I would like to have this deal closed and the order place no later than Friday 4/25. I would like to hear from the remaining 6 people. If I dont, then the next 6 that pay will have to take your places. I just wish to be fair so the people who have already paid dont have to wait indefinitely. I think this is considerate as well. How do you guys feel about that?

You live on LI and yet you saying you're willing to drive a little? Unless you live in the deep east end of Suffolk county you are not any further than 30mns to almost any point of manhattan. Thanks for your payment.
