Alright, I got all the pricing information on shipping. I sent out emails notifying everyone of their shipping cost. The shipments can begin to go out Thursday those are that are getting direct shipping. CA locals will be available for pick after 2P. You guys can call me after that time for the address and reference numbers. This deal is wrapping up pretty soon.

If I can only pick-up the struts after 2pm that sucks cause I start work at 2. So how am I supposed to get them. Yeah I can pay for shipping but why do that when I live like 20 minutes away from the place. The only thing I am worried about at this moment is picking them up. I don't understand why we can only pick them up after two, doesn't make any sense but hopefully NyMaxedOut will elaborate on this.

Pleas inform us on where and when to pick it up. I don't have any information or contact of the distributor. NyMaxedOut please e-mail or post the information regarding this matter.

BTW: Menacer where do you live? If anyone live in Orange County may be we can work something out. I live in Fullerton CA.

NyMaxedOut,

I posted yesterday but it didn't make it. I also sent you an email but you didn't respond. I want to be in the GD and I live in Houston, TX so it has to be shipped from the distributor. If I am in, do I paypal you the $268 and then pay the shipping seperately or what?

that is what we did as a GD , but since he already has the parts in.... and if he has some extra... i'm sure he can let u in and pay him all together for parts and shipping.... i'm in austin, tx and the shipping was $26 so it should be the same for u...

Hope u r able to get in on the deal

Here is the elaboration. You can begin to pick the parts after 2P today and anytime thereafter. Not sure if they are open on saturdays but you can pick anytime. Just not before 2P today only.
Thanks,

oldmanmax--> I will ask the supplier if theres an extra set. I will let you know shortly.

Hey guys, there was a slight change. I paid for the orders today since I didnt get the correct prices with the shipping until late afternoon yesterday. I called my supplier with the payment but he couldnt accept credit card or paypal unless he charges me that c/c's 3% fee. That amount was $140. So I decided to the $ via wire from my bank. It is estimated it should be completed within 24hrs but I expect it to be done a lot faster. My guy will call me as soon as the bank confirms the $ is there. This is an unexpected mole but not a big issue. Also, he said KYB raise their prices on the GR-2 as of 5/2 by $10 each part or $40/set. We are very fortunate to get ours at the time we got them. In any event, I have no doubt the shipments will begin to go out possibly later today or friday. For guys that wish to pick up..no problem I am going to send you the contact info via PM. Be sure to call first and ask if they received pmt from Ralph on the KYB's. I will PM exact details. Tracking numbers will be provided after shipment has been sent.

I believe me, sloppymax, and 2k2SEmax have made you aware to let maximadave pick up our orders and ship them out to save the paypal charge. Just making sure that you were fully aware of it.

I've also sent over my payment for shipping. I'll be out of town for the next week or so (going to D.C.) so I don't really care when they show up. Just as long as they do.

Never mind. I found some for a good deal.

CTmax02: I just ordered a complete set of GR2s from http://www.taylorautomotive.com for $301 and they were in stock. I have a 2k3 but had to search as if I had a 2k or 2k1 (still a 5th gen). I have never bought from this place so I can't really vouch for them. Just thought I would give you a head's up.

Gentlemen, payment has been received and confirmed. The orders are now being shipped w/tracking numbers for those who've already paid. Most people should have theirs within 3-5 days. The local guys in CA can go get their orders tomorrow. I have already called you guys. All others, I will get tracking numbers for you as soon as they are shipped. For those of you I am awaiting shipping payments, please try to do so as soon as possible. By the way, here are the part numbers you will be looking for.

PART NUMBERS 2000-2003 MAXIMA

FRONT LEFT STRUT - 334265
FRONT RIGHT STRUT - 334266
REAR SHOCKS - 341271

==============================================
For all others that didnt make it to this GD, I am sorry but the supplier has no more units in stock.
==============================================
**THANK YOU ALL**

$301+ shipping is still a great price. Shipping added to our cost but virtually all orders avg about $280 including shipping. Thanks for the input.

Quick question: when I ordered, I got two front 'struts' and two rear 'shocks' (at least that is what was listed on the site). Is that correct. I am asking because I researched and some one said 5th gens have struts all the way around. As you can see, I am a newbie myself.

Thanks.

To my wholesome knowledge... 5th gens have front struts and rear shocks. Check the part numbers. They are directly from KYB.

I picked my KYB GR-2 struts this morning from the distributor. Nice people to work with. Transaction went smoothly. They told me if I ever have a problem with the struts I can bring it back to them for a replacement. He told me to make sure to fill out the warranty registration form and send it to KYB.

Dave, thats great news. I am glad you got your set already. For the others, I have received your payments and I am sorry I was very pre-occupied today I couldnt call the place the get the tracking numbers. I will get them for all of you on Monday. No need to worry though, my supplier is very efficient.

I had mine installed this afternoon and all I have to say is WOWwhat a difference a set of struts made on my ride quality. My suspension does not bottom out anymore and it has stiffened up the ride. The ride is tollerable, definately what I was looking for

Big props to Ralph (NyMaxedOut)for putting this group deal together.

You don't waste any time do you. When I went to pick them up this morning I saw that you had picked yours up. The guy I talked to on the phone said that they lost $11 dollars a set or strut on this deal cause KYB raised there priced about two weeks ago but for some reason they didn't get around to updating the price. He said we were lucky. They guy that I met was very cool. He showed me the KYB strut mounts and I was about to buy them but he didn't think I needed them. He also gave me the KYB catalog and an NGK catalog. He even helped me load the struts to my car. Thanks NyMaxedOut for everything that you put into this GD. Your hard work is appreciated.
