GD: In-Cabin Microfilter (Carbon Activated) 2000 - 2003 Maxima

** This group deal is over. Thanks to all who participated. **

I have contacted our friend at Nissan and he will sell these filters to us for just under $40/ea, plus shipping. Right now I am just getting names and quantities so I can let him know. Once we get a couple people, we can start the ordering information. Thanks.

what happens if you never replace the filter? do you breathe in bad air? would it be the same as having no filter?

Eventually, bacteria or mold may start to build up. Even if they don't you will be breathing bad air if the filter isn't changed.

Put me down for two GaMax97GLE!!

My interior is remarkably dust free after a year and a half. I attribute this mainly to driving with my windows closed and the climate control on constantly. I can't wait to see what the 18 month old filter looks like when I replace it!!

Does anyone know if these filters are really washable because I checked my glove box door and it says the filter is washable. Has anyone tried washing it before with good results?

I believe that's only for "1998-2001 Altima". I might be wrong though.

GaMax97GLE negotiated this deal with DaveB. Dave is the parts guy at a Nissan Dealership in TX. GaMax will PM you Dave's number, and all you need to do is tell Dave your shipping info and how many filters you need.

Shipping 2 filters to NJ was $5.25. Credit Card is required.

PS- Filter is currently on back order. Dave stated it's less than one week away though.

I am in for one....I got them from Infiniti of Scottsdale for $42.88. Is the GD price lower than this shipped to NJ too? The part number for it was B7200-3Y000. I wonder if it is the same.

if the price difference isn't much, might as well order it from the DaveB and help him out with his sales
