i dont know wat to do... =T and yes auto max they are just like urz.. scratches carbon fiber pieces missing.... =T i dont wanna bad mouth stuff about slamm cuz it is cool... and all but.. when the product is not good i have to say something.... sorry

 

i guess ill try to fix it up... make it look better.. i dont know..... unless u guys have other suggestions

 

I got mine on Monday. I thought it was just me that got it bad i guess there is alot of bad one's out there. Mine is cracked in small area, lots of carbon fiber missing in some area and my tape on the back of the pillars can't stand high pressure wash ! Now i got to find a way to glue them down, another !

 

I dont want to bad mounth him either. He promise the stuff will be here on wensday day. Hey is wensday and i got my stuff, he kept his word. But the proudct is not even close to what I had expected. Is not even quality product. Anyways my point is to have it exchange.
If all of them are like that sorry i want my money back. Im not against you Slimmed95 or anything but if you are in my shoes I think you will do the same.

I think is a cutting issue also, maybe the blade wasn't sharp enough. And the crack from the edge lead to the side and so on than some of the Carbon fiber tear off.

 

wateva it is... i hope he answers all of our questions on this forum... this is a big issue we have here.... =T well i will attempt to make them look better.. by getting rid of the cracked edges try to sand them down with some fine sand paper and re coat it with layers of clear coat.. front and back possibly... get rid of that cheap *** tape.. and use some hot glue or expoxy to stick them on... but if there is a refund or a exchange i will save myself the time.. and exchange them otherwise ill plan on doing this.. probably gonna take me awhile to get them to a point where they would look good... =T

 

huh, i knew i should have gone with capvent on this one, gd it...I still haven't gotten mine, and they should have shipped with the first batch. Damn I haven't seen mine and I want my money back.

Slammed has pretty good service. I received the product on Wednesday like he said and it was nicely wrapped also. The only problem is like the others said, that the edges are messed up. It seems like the cut is not good. You can somewhat notice the edges also in the pictures he has on the 5th generation maxima if you look carefully enough. I thought it was just the pics. =(

 

I say we get our money back *COUGH* then all go buy from capvent, his are proven to be quality.

I like how I still haven't received mine, yet they should have been last wednesday, mail lady says she hasn't seen anything like that for. Where the hell did you send them?

 

got mine today... 5th gen .. did a quick install ... no scratches here but there is bubbles in the clear coat....
bottom line... THESE ARE NOT GOOD QUALITY AND NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID...
makes me think i bought something from pep boys APC

I just got mine today and they look pretty damn nice to me, maybe it was the first batch that was shipped out that was the bad ones. Mine have no blemishes or any missing CF in it. They look sweet as hell.

 

i would like to speak on behalf for those who got messed up ones...

im hoping mine are fine, I can deal with the 3mm tape being less that perfect, thats easy enough to fix. Just need to get them first hehe

Hey Carnal_c30 do you know bobby from TeamTemptaion with a 2k GSR?

 

I got mine today....finally..just put them on, and I must say they look pretty damn good. My only gripe is the 3mm tape placement on the larger front door pillar strip could have better placement, other than that the only other problem i see is on a few of them the clear coat is chipped, telling me he clear coated then cut them out, when he should have cut then coated. Either way I can live with it for 49 dollars. I have a take a few pictures of them, please disregard the dirty car, she is going in for detailing next week

3 is definately the best looking on, imo, I tried to snap a few other ones from weird angle and a little further away, to capture the "scratched cf look" but they came out like ***.


***UPDATE***
Just went for a ride and when I got back they were peeling off, the 3mm tape on there is definately not sticking to the carbon fiber backing, its stuck on my car like a ****** ****** though. I think I maybe need to tape them off and "reapply" some better **** that will stick. That kinda ****es me off.
