He's probably waiting to get a supply of something in before he starts taking payment so he can ship everyone's at the same time and so some of us dont have to wait for a month before it comes in like the last one.
I image it will start up soon. Give him a break.....

Alright boys and girls, I got an email from Steve:

ight now we are very low stock on the 95-99 intakes. We have more on order
and expect them soon but we want to wait till we have them in stock before
we start taking orders. as soon as i have a definete arrival date for them i
will start taking payment. i just don't want to take payments and not have
the product to ship.
The BBQ went very well, large turnout and good group and a great day.

Ive been working the whole week and he only got back to me once. and that was about me going up to his place to install it, since I dont want to f*ck up my resonator. Kapt, get back to us asap. Well guys, I hate to tell you guys that I dont know when this GD is goin happen, but I dont know. The email I got from Steve is all the info I got about it. I really want to get my intake soon too, so I can impress those CU girls with some sweet intake sounds. Well as long as I am here, my friend has the GTECH accelerometer thingys. So we mounted it up, did all the nesscary weight and rpm calibrations then we went to a nice chunk of flat. Well the results were a little disspointing, my max hp according to the GTECH was 119, 1/4 was like 17.2@81.8 mph with a 0-60 close to 10 seconds!!!!!!!! I was like WTF is this about. Then i thought about it like a good student should. 1. The most important, I am an automax 2. I had my buddy in the car, although he is a slim 155 3. There was some really gusty winds up in Boulder that night 4. Had 1/2 tank of gas 5. I have a thule rack with the fering and bike rack . So I thought to myself, well when do I ever drive around with my rack off, 1/4 tank of gas, and with no people in the car; well it is a rareity so I will never be those bad **** max's that pack heat. I guess performance has its drawbacks to the utility of recreation sometimes. So the plot to this story is that I am damn happy to have a max that is this quick and wont have it any other way! Hope this got your mind off the GD for a bit.

a) reply if I was going to go through with this
b) tell people when they could start placing orders and when they could expect them
c) apologize for not keeping everyone informed in the first place and getting a lot of people ****ed off
d) PM everyone and sell my product

Well once again here is the email from steve..........

he parts we are waiting for are still supposed to arrive at our vendor in
the US on August 6-7 and then they are getting 2 day aired to us. Once i
have confirmation from him that he has the parts i will start taking orders
and ship everything out the following week.

So there you guys have it, I know the original GD was for the middle of july, but it looks as though it is turning into early august, so I is up to you guys if you want out or stay aboard.

 

I'm guessing if I ordered one off their site I'd be waiting that long too.. sigh, anyone got a used one for sell?

edit: nevermind, just bought a JWT intake.
