HID's are just so often advertised as being the higher the K the better the performance. Advertising an 8000k hid as 3200 lumens is mis-leading. However, I do have white looking HIDs as does Ange, people should just know before they buy them. I was unaware of HID technology before I purchased my first set and wish I had known more. So I am not trying to put her HIDs down because I have similar ones and think they look cool. Just if someone is looking for performance they should use a lesser kelvin HID. As much as these do look white and are white, their intensity is too great for the lamp housing, so much light is lost and does not get reflected properly, a lesser kelvin bulb will help it out. For looks, IMO, 8000k is the way to go and the lesser the Kelvin is better for performance.
