don't mean to ***** your thread or anything, but i'm pretty sure that the short shifter on a '95 max will not fit one that on '02 max. it would be way too different (with the linkages, tranny position, etc etc). hmmmm.....i remember seeing a short shifter on e-bay that claimed to fit 95-02 as well, and the shifter looked nothing like stock 2k2. jus' trying to help.
