Wow.. this is pretty damn cheap. Aren't they normally like ~$230?

EDIT: just saw that you said the regular price is $110.00. I saw a few places online that said ~$215 + ~$40 for the silencer.. where are these $110 normally?

these are apexi n1 'style', which means they aren't actually made by apexi rite? how do they sound, and welding will be required for fitment, correct? it's not just a simple bolt on?

These aren't the REAL APEXi N1. The real APEXi N1s go for about $215. I got one for myself so I figured that start a group buy for this product too. Whatever money I make off of this is going straight to getting more mufflers to sell on my site for $110 Shipped. In my book of rules, it says that my fellow Nissan family comes first. Nissan owners get these prices first, or they're the ONLY one's that get these prices. I'm just watching out for my Altima's big brother Maximas and little brother Sentras. - Jitek

So they are knockoffs? What are the differences in performance/looks/sound/finish/etc. of the real Apexi and the one you are selling?

First off, this is just a muffler. Whoever says that you're going to get some mad horsepower increase, is full of it. I'm just being honest. This muffler DEFINITELY sounds nice. It also IMO looks VERY nice. This is something I'd use to as a show mod (welding on) or if you want to go performance, get catback mendrel bent piping (2.5 inches) and do it that way. Either way, you want to go. Some people would rather dish out the extra $100+ dollars and get the APEXi N1 for the peace of mind. Every muffler that I've had on my car (changed because I have this problem with changing my mind all the time, not because the product is bad) was a universal, like this. IMO, I don't want to pay $100+ than I have to just so it has "APEXi" engraved into it. That's just my opinion. If there are any more questions, please feel free to ask. You Maxima owners are GREAT, always on top of things. - Jitek

I'm such an idiot. I hardly even answered the questions. Hehe. They are indeed "knock-offs." Not made by APEXi. They are not the ones on ebay. Yes, they must be welded on. My friend has the exact one (that I got him for chirstmas) and it still sounds deep and growls. I think it really depends on the type of car that you have though. Don't worry, we don't drive hondas, you should be fine soundwise. On my altima, no matter which muffler I put on, it always seems to sound the same, but then again I do always get a design that is "somewhat" similar. - Jitek
