i have one with a y-pipe. Many people have heard mine, its not loud at all. ON the highway doing 90 on 4th gear and letting off you'll get a drone but nowhere as loud as other custom setups.

thats before we heard of all the problems associated with the seller SSAUTOCHROME

i was going to get one alone with a friend...and that idiot jacked up the prices with every e-mail we sent

then he sent people the wrong parts, defective parts without refund, some pipes were 2.25" some were 2.5", mufflers had different diameter tips...

i was so excited about getting this exhaust, cause its just like the greddy but so much cheaper, until i heard all those things going on in the group deal.

awsker, i hope you got things under control with the obx dealer, and that it doesn't end up like the first one

 

actually it looks like an hks dragger exhaust but year, bad customer service and price jacking is not a good thing...

 

I've been able to straighten out any problems that have occured with GD's with ssautochrome (pedal gd a while back) that ive been involved in. I'm not sure which 1st GD you are referring to but the one's I've hosted have gone well. I've nerver ran into any pricing issues with SSAUTOCHROME...they have always set a low price and never increased it.

I don't want anyone to get screwed so if you do not feel comfortable participating in this GD, please do not do so. If you want some feedback on ssautochreom, you can ask any previous OBX Cat back exhaust GD (I've done 2)participant's for their personal experience/opinion.

What size is the pipe??? 2.25? or 2.5? Will the B-pipe bolt to the factory muffler?

If you live in the East Coast, you should get yours pretty quickly as the vendor is located in NC. It will be shipped out in two parts because it's pretty long. I will let you guys know when they are shipping.

As far as the diameter, the vendor told me it was 2.5 but I have not verified it yet. Let me know if you have any other questions.

guys, I just got an email today from my contact at ss and because of a mix up the cat backs won't ship out til the 26 or 27th. He was gone all last week and the cat backs he head on hold for us were accidentally sold. He apoligized for the error and offered to refund the money if you don't want to wait. there was an order delay by OBX so they won't be getting the items til next friday at the latest. I appologize for the delay but since it's on OBX, there's nothing the vendor can do. If you want your money back please let me know and I'll have the vendor refund your paypal payment.

Its Friday, Sept. 5, the "latest" SSAutochrome was to receive the parts and send out. I tried emailing SSAutochrome three days ago and haven't received a reply. I am starting to get that sinking feeling. Makes me very suspicious when a retailer won't have any contact with you once they receive your money (i.e. RVM). What's going on???????

 

i reccomend emailing awsker and getting your money back.
thats what i did, im gonna just buy one off ebay more like 30 more bucks.

 

I believe everyone should be getting a refund. OBX did not send out the cat backs and they are not sure when they will. I 'll try to start up another GD when they get some in stock. If anyone lives in Nor Cali wants one, I'm selling my Cat back system for the $273. It's still brand new. the reason I'm selling is because I'm selling the Max.

 

Dammit, I might have bought that but I ordered a PowerTech muffler earlier today. Argh! Haha..
