Okay, i see what you're looking at. It appears they've got two versions of pricing pages on their website (not including the group deal pricing page).

If you go to their main home page at www.frankencar.com and then choose "Products" and then chose your year from the page, it'll take you to the new price page here, where you'll see the $150 price.

However, if you go to that page you referenced and choose "Intakes" it takes you here to a different pricing page than the first one I referenced.

They really need to correct that.

You should hold him to $10 off the $145 price to make up for the confusion

As long as they get all the orders right, and make sure that all the brackets and whatever else that's needed is correct, I can wait until the first couple of days of the upcoming week for the guys to ship. I talked to one of them and they are genuinely trying hard to get their shiit straight and do quality business with their customers, so I am sure that this order should go through very soon, and without a hitch.

I don't blame ya.

I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this...they already have our money and no response

Hey Steve, a simple response/update would be appreciated by all your new, already paid ya, customers

yes it also makes me uneasy that they are no updates, but from all the last GD they had done this seems like normal procedure, everyone gets paranoid, but everyone seems to get their product sooner or later

Yeah, it's the "later" i'm worried about

Especially since Steve said they had them in stock "ready to ship"

I emailed both guys at Frankencar earlier this morning. Even forwarded my PayPal receipt in email....still no reply

I'm gettin' tired of this ****. You know, does it really take somebody to start *****in and complaining for Frankencar to respond to anything? I've left both Steve and Scott some voicemails and some PM just to try to get a simple update for us but nothing...

Okay, I just got off the phone with Scott at Frankencar.

He said they have all the stuff in stock and they expect to ship early next week (Monday or Tuesday).

He said Steve should be posting an update here some time tonight.

Keep yer fingers crossed

Like I said, keep your fingers crossed. I don't think Scott and Steve are on the same page.

Scott thought Steve had already posted an update. He seemed surprised when I told him that we haven't heard from anyone since Steve posted the link to pay.

He said they have all the Apexi and K/N filters in stock, but they're making sure they have all the other items in and ready to go for all the intakes ordered.

He assured me that the shipments would go out no later than early next week so we'll see.

Here's his number for anyone else who'd like to voice your concern:

Scott: 413-219-6922

Here's Steve's number too, but i've only ever gotten his voicemail.

Steve: 413-883-3575

good to hear that they should be going out soon. Any idea what method they'll be shipped (FedEx, UPS, USPS) and if we'll receive a tracking number for each individual order? I bet if they know how many people on here are anxious to get them, and not too happy with how they are dealing with this, they will get on the ball and get the stuff out early to make us happy, not that we won't all be happy anyways and forgive all when everything's installed and sounding great!

yes we will be shipping out in the next few days. The second part of our order of maf adapters was supposed to arrive today but is still on the ups truck definetly gonna be here anyday. We will be shipping USPS with delivery confirmation and we will DEFINETLY email everyone the day they go out with their delivery confirmation number. Also we were hoping to top the 15 mark so we could just refund everyone the $5 difference via a $5 bill in the box. we are almost to that point. I know we are not around our cell phones all the time but we are definetly not ignoring you guys at all. Thank you again guys and we will be emailing everyone shortly.

-steve

I just need the MAF bracket for the apex'i filter because for some reason when I recieved my frankencar intake months ago i only recieved a k&n maf bracket. So Steve, I was wondering how much it would be just for the apexi bracket?

Correct me if I am wrong, but if more people join, wouldn't Frankencar wait until they all pay, thus delaying the shipment of the original group of buyers?

, they were going to begin shipping after ten payments. If more than 15 pay we get 5 dollar refund. This should not slow shipping out our products.

Look at it this way...hopefully they got whatever shipment they needed, and they are using this weekend to get everything packaged correctly to ship out on Monday. If that's the case I'll be satisfied. I sure do hope that's the case.

Maybe if they send them out on Monday, we'll all have a five spot sitting inside the package. That'd be cool.

I may not have used the correct link. I did include a brief note indicating that it was a group deal order, though. Does this seem right?

Item Name: Maxima Intake-Colors-Apexi
Option 1: YEAR: 2000-2001
Option 2: COLOR: BLACK
Item Amount: $190.00
Quantity: 1
Total: $190.00

Cart Subtotal: $190.00

Shipping: $13.00
Sales Tax: $0.00

Cart Total: $203.00

I'll just be happy if they ship them next week as promised, AND the box has ALL of the parts in it. (read the other Frankencar threads about that)

These guys aren't known for their customer service skillzzz. I think their email boxes are just black holes where email is sent, never to be replied to. (voicemail isn't any better)

I've sent them EACH several emails over the course of the last couple of weeks. Not one response from either Scott or Steve. And I wasn't even rude

I think their idea of communication is "When you receive your intake you'll know it's been shipped"
