G/D "New Style" Brembo Rotors

Hi guys, I ordered a lot of these OEM stock size, direct replacement Rotors from my last SEMA trip. I would need about 5 firm orders for these newly released "Brembos" with 12 designs to choose from: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/342829/2

Price for all gen Maximas are $95 (Fronts or Rears) $180 (F/R set) + $35 shipping to 48 States. (add $5/Rotor for Zinc Plating if needed).

The first 3 "Full Set" orders also get "Free" Door Panel Inserts as Christmas present from me:
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/342829/3

This G/D will end Dec.14.03, For now please add your Name, Cars info and Rotor Style like this:
1) MaxedUp, 93 VE, Double Slot, F/R set.

I will post payment the payment instructions soon. Thanks henrikgal@aol.com

From his post here:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=266089

Ship time is 3-4 days after you buy it + however long it takes to get to you.

Payment is via paypal, cashier check, money order or personal check (5 day hold) as far as i've read.

so, are the rotors drilled and/or slotted by Brembo, or is it done by another company? also, is the deal for $180 plus shipping for any of the 12 twelve designs or only for the blanks? thanks

IIRC, the rotors are Brembo blanks cut by a third party.

The price is for any of the 12 designs (2k2/3's are slightly more expensive).

Done by another company in 12 different patterns. (you choose any pattern you like - included in the price)
The price for the full set (F/R) is $180+$35 shipping to 48 states

O.K., this is what I can do to simplify thing based on 3-5 "Paid" Orders:

89-2K1 "Brembo", F/R Rotors, Zinc Plated, Any Pattern: $246/shipped
2K2-2K3 "Auto Specialty", F/R Zinc Plated, Any Pattern: $256/shipped
Here are the patterns to choose from: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/342829/2

I rather sell these as a complete F/R set, "Otherwise" devide the above prices in 1/2 if you just want Front "or" Rears Rotors only. Any good Quality Pads will be fine, my favorite is: AXXIS (PBR) Metal Masters or Ultimates (around $88 F/R set)

Add $24 on top of each prices if you don't want to wait until the G/B is over, and have to get em sooner, Please allow additional 2 days for Zinc Platting before they are shipped out.
All Payment are to be made by Cashier's Check/Money Order. Please contact: HenrikGal@Aol.com for the Name and Address info. Thanks

What's "Auto Specialty"? They're not Brembo's? In a post above you said that the 2k2s were brembo's. Did something change? HOws the quality of these Auto Specialty's?

Seems like there is good interest to renew this Group Buy once again...
The price will be around $4 more. Here is the patterns to choose from:
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/342829/2

89-2001 F/R Brembo Rotors: $250/shipped (Incl. Zinc Plating)
2K2/2K3 F/R Auto Specialty Rotors: $260/shipped (Incl. Zinc Plating)
If just Front or Rear Rotors, devide the above prices in 1/2

Add $90 more for complete front/Back Axxis Metal Masters Brake Pads.

PLEASE PAYPAL THE CAR'S INFO AND THE ROTOR'S PATTERN OF CHOICE:
To: henrikGal@aol.com

Or add your name and all the your info in here, and I will contact you soon.

How does auto specialty rotors quality stand up compared to brembo, ect. Also, there has been a lot of talk about buying rotors w/ slots in them, that they will . Do you or anyone else offer a warranty in the event this happens?

Have you heard of Powerstop rotors?

If so, Powerstop is a subsidiary or Auto Specialty.

From what i've heard, Powerstop is pretty good quality - i can only assume that the parent company should be just as, or even better.

By the way, Henrik is there a straight-up slotted-only design?

Thanks.

I am not an expert on brake stuff... But my supplier and many in the auto aftrermarket business believe they are as good as brembos and will have full warranty against any defects, cracks... etc.

Warping is my concern as well. After calling many vendors, they always recommend Powerslot because they don't warp. I don't want rotor that are going to warp in 30k. I had to have my OEM's turned at 14k and they are in horrible shape again.

Do they consider warping a defect or normal wear and tear?

Yeah, I 2nd that! I'm ready to buy these maxed up but I don't want 6 months from know have tha rotors warp and not be able to turn them and be out $260 and have to buy new ones. As long as there is some kind of reassurance that who ever you vendor is will stand behind them and also commit on paper as well I will buy them tommorow.
