Not trying to be a pain but I guess I have to call your "sales team" to check on the 3rd gens. Just because it's not listed on your website doesn't mean you're not able to get the kit, correct? Even if the price is not the same as the GD price, let the consumer decide if they want to pay that price for the kit or not. Even if it's not a 25pc kit, just as long as it's the real aluminum and not the fake stuff on eBay as you mentioned

Candiman: We do not have the 89-94 maxima dash kit available without the clear coat on top. The real aluminum that you are looking for is only available for 4th and 5th gen maxima. I'll contact the manufacturer and see if they are willing to make a 3rd gen kit anytime soon.

I understand you might be busy or have forgotten but any word from your manufacturer? I'm also aware the 3rd gen price might not be the same as the GD price or may not include the same amount of pieces. That's ok with me and I'll be politely asking you the update until you give me a final answer on the 3rd gen kit. As you know, sometimes we have to pay the piper in-order to get quality items. Just as long as the piper isn't asking a rediculous amount of money I really would like to say away from the plastic kits on eBay, but once again I might fall short.

Talked to our supplier about the 3rd gen kits, they are not willing to budge on the price. sheesh cheap skates. Sorry.

I made a mistake, the pop out tray does not have a cover piece, I was thinking of the pop out ash tray. That piece does have a cover.

I have a question. My dash has a crack in it right at the bottom of the ashtray/garbage on a 97 GLE. Would it be able to go over that or will it not look right? You can actually push it down so that it would be below the rest of the dash

 

RapidMax, it probably would but it depends on how big the crack is. Keep in mind it uses adhesive, so it does need something to adhere to.

Its pretty big as you can see and I doubt it will work but do you think it could possibly make it look better? I got the crack because my ashtray is broken I think from an accident and people kept opening the ash tray and it was putting pressure on the dash. The white stuff is a horrible attempt to fix it with crazy glue. Also I've heard it might not work cause of the wood dash already being there
