Ok, possibly an amazing deal for Viper 791xv

A friend of mine is closing his business, and offered to sell me his last 11 Viper 791xv alarms for $250 each. Who would be interested in doing a group deal (I will offer no mark-up, since I am trying to help him out and want one for myself), but he wants all gone ASAP. So I can offer them to you guys for say $265 shipped (to cover paypal fees and shipping)? Who would be interested?

Alex

Oh, and BTW, not trying to step on anyone's toes (Don, you're still the man), but I am trying to help a friend in need and (I think) get a smoking deal on a great alarm?

Few Q's.

Are you from SouthWest AutoWorks?
Is there warranty on the system? If so, who will provide the receipt?
Can I use my credit card directly instead of going through Paypal?

Finally, this alarm system is supposed to difficult to install by yourself. I think it has to be done by someone experienced. Do you have any idea who will do it and have a rouch estimate of how much it costs for installation?

A) Yes, there will be warranty directly thru us, not DEI since we are not an authorized dealer, and we will offer a three year direct replacement.
B) This system appears to be a ***** to install. I installed my 790 in my Maxima, and that took 5 hours, and I'm MECP certified installer. I suggest you look to a professional in your area. In Phoenix, people charge from 100-140.
C)Yes, you can call in with your credit card and order as well.

Yes, on trunk, and yes on window (may need a 529t module, so check with your local install shop)...

I loved my 790, but from what everyone has said, the 791xv is God of alarms.

Yes, the alarm has lifetime warranty no matter what, but we will offer a three year replacement warranty free of charge.

Most big places do not install brought-in parts, so go after small (preferably referred to you) alarm shop in your area.

talisman and limsandy...cut him a break here. The price is actually extremely good, but more importantly we all know Alex, therefore knowing somewhat where the product is coming from. With Ebay and etronics and whatever others..who knows what your getting. If I a dollar for everytime someone brought me a product from Ebay that claimed to be new, perfect condition, etc and then didnt work Id be rich. When the customer tried to send to the manufacturer and gets a response of "this isnt our serial number" or "we didnt even make this product", etc..you get the point. Just give him a chance, he is trying to help out a friend as well as a few people on here get something they want at an extremely fair price.

Ok, I spoke to my friend Rob. He is willing to do all 11 for 230, so we can do them for $240 shipped. I asked him if he can go lower, but he's losing $17 per unit, and needs to pay his bills.

So, the new price will be $240 shipped.
Thanks
Alex

Alex,

Who are you and Steve getting to install yours? Audio Express friend?

Do you know of any GOOD shops that could do the install and about how much they charge?

My friend Brian here in Phoenix is the Install Manager at Soundwerx, and he is offering us locals a discount for install. PM me for Brian's cell phone number.

I am interested. Just a few questions, what's the difference between buying from an unauthorizied dealer and an a authorized dealer? Is the replacement warrenty longer from the authorizied dealer? Also after 3 years and the SWA warrenty is over and the viper malfunctions, I can go back to DEI and get a replacement since it has a lifetime warrenty?

Thanks

Thank you to everybody who participated in this sale, but all 11 have been sold, so this GD is now closed.
