FYI the lights aren't FOG LIGHTS... They're Just turn signals. I decided to opt out on those and get a pair of PIAA fogs soon.
The stupid body shop workin on my car is bein a pain in the @$$. He doesn't want to put my bumper on b/c its aftermarket. I'll probably have to drive down to JT and get it installed by them.(Guess i'm stuck w/out my car for another week or so... SUX)

Hey, just stumbled across this thread. Saw a FG kit on ebay and posted about it in the 5th gen forum. Was directed here and just ordered one for myself today. Total came to $920 with exhaust and shipping. I'll probably be ordering the turn singal indicators and fog lights later.

I wouldn't be able to look at it if it were lying in my garage. I am not the person who buys something and doesn't use it right away. When ever I buy something I open it before i even see my car in the parking lot. I couldn't wait for a paint job. MAYBE NEXT TIME THOUGH.

As soon as I get the money I'm getting the whole kit, but there's a guy that does awesome paint jobs around here and he told me to paint the entire car except door jams and stuff in sterling mist w/ some pearl would be about $800-$1000

does the person remove all the moldings and pieces?? sounds a bit cheap... does the guy work at maaco? earl schibs? be careful about these cheap places... the paint will peel after a while and get orange peel... the average is about 3-4K for a full paint job...

Took some pics, you can view them here if you want:

Had a few questions though, on the back in the following pic there was some writing on it. It says 01-03 maxima. I drive a 00 maxima and I told him this over the phone! The front grill area looks different, will it fit?
Also there's a weird notch carved out of the top, I hope it's supposed to be there.

front grill part looks different......I thought that 2k~2k1 owners will need 2k2 grill for the front. But looking at the pic it doesn't even looks like u'll need the 2k2 grill.......

00-03 bumpers are interchangeable. As for the odd shape of the grill on the front bumper, it looks like the installer will have to heat that top area of it up to make it fit. On the Maxima the bottom of the headlight runs parallel to the ground, and on your pictures it looks to be that the grill area and most of the middle of the bumper is sagging. It's usually a commonplace problem with bumper replacement kits that you find for relatively cheap.
When you do get it installed tell us how the fitment is.
TK
PS The front bumper also seems to be missing the holes for the locking pins along the top of the grill, I'm not sure if thats how it's suppose to come or if they need to be drilled. None of it is really a big deal, any reputable body shop should have encountered this before and will know how to take care of it, remember the front bumper isn't fiberglass so it has a lot more give.
