Yeeeaaaahhhhh!!

You guys like the new addition to my dining room?

BTW, the grille opening is much smaller than stock... there's no way to put a factory grille in there with out having it molded that way.

Hmmm... now to find a paint shop...

Yey Me! Haha

Sorry about the delay guys. Heres a breif update Pearl. After my car was in the body shop TWO months(since FEB 20th), its on its way here right now. I had to get the bumper repainted b/c when i took the car into the dealer, they F**KD up my bumper. Ne ways my bodyshop took care of it for free. I should have the pics avail hopefully within the next couple hours.

BTW for those that had questions about the bumper.

1.You have about 4-5 Inches of clearance(basically it shouldn't scrape if you know how to drive)

2.As far as the grill, its a plain mesh grille. (I'm having a friend cut a custom grille, either honeycomb or billet.<~~ Any Suggestions?)

The grill opening isn't shaped right. The mid-section of the bumper is sagging, and so would the grill part, because its a flexible compound. It's not that the grill area is smaller. Look at the lines of the bumper, specifically where the headlights would sit just above. If you take a look at a Maxima you can clearly see that the headlights run almost perfectly parallel to the ground. Most of the aftermarket bumper replacements aren't perfect, and usually require some work to fit them. Looking at the bumper out of the box, will make it seem that a grill wont fit there, but you can't change the shape of the car to make the bumper fit, once the bumper is on the car and made to fit, the grill will fit.

Take a look at these pix... you'll see the opening is only about 4" high.

see this is what ive been waiting for. In the fiberglass version, a factory 2k2 grille is used. In this model, it looks different. I was assuming this was an exact replica of the fiberglass version. I was also told in this thread, a custom grille or a 2002 grille could be used. I was even told a 2001 grille could be used ( but thats impossible since 2k/2k1 grilles are molded with the bumper). Exactly whats going on. Im only being persistent because I want the right information. I guess i'l just have to wait for actual installed pictures. Sorry for the delay. Im waiting to pay already.

As I understand it from other posts, the 2k2/2k3 in the photo had his custom made with room for the grille molded in. I'm sure JT will do that if that is what you want. If you will notice on your factory set up, the grille doesn't have anything between it and the hood. Look at my pix above... there is a grille top there... all you have to do is put the mesh that comes with the kit behind the opening... instant grille! Nothing to buy, nothing to fab, nothing to retro fit.

Here's a crude mock up

Hey PearlWhtMaX2000! Did you get the body shop to sand down that ghetto EVO logo & web address under the grill?

I will sell my full kit + exhaust for the same price as the GD + shipping. If you are in N. VA and can pick it up I won't charge shipping. JT Autostyle normally charges $1,200 shipped for what I have. I'm selling for $800 + shipping. Save ~$400 if you are local.

You can see it below the grille in PearlWhtMaX2000's pics below. Its raised lettering that says EVO V with jtautostyle.com below it.

geeez, take it easy. I didn't know you run hahano.com. The pics were already used in this thread and I thought they did a fine job of answering the question. I tried to edit the post and leech my own bandwidth, but the post is too old to edit. I'll try to be more careful.
