GB - HP RACING's New Lightning 18x8 and 19x8.5

Ok guys, after much delay, here is the deal.

Secured 3 sets of the following:
18x8 HP Racing silver w/polished lip +38 offset 25lbs
$590 shipped anywhere within Cont US
add $30 for staggered fitment by adding two 18x9 +38 offset 26lbs

Secured 5 sets of the following:
19x8.5 HP Racing Hypersilver Dark w/polished lip +35 offset 27lbs
$1075 shipped anywhere within Cont US

Here is the pic of the Hypersilver Dark finish:

Paypal ID : bighman@shaw.ca

Also of note: If either of these sets sell out, I will be taking security deposits for the next shipment of HP wheels scheduled to arrive in 2 weeks. The security deposit will be $50, and if you decide to cancel, I will be charged a re-stocking fee of $25. Which I will subtract from the deposit and refund you the remaining funds. Definatley be sure you want these wheels.

With all that out of the way, happy GB-ing!

Damn, is the price bad?

I'm looking at my bill and its $105/wheel more for the 19's than the 18's...I never questioned it... just thought that its a good price for 19's.

sometimes 19" isn't worth getting.... i've noticed that tires prices are jacked up pretty significantly also for 19s over 18s...but 1175 is still pretty cheap for 19" rims...

Would 18 x 8 in front and 18 x 9 in the back, with no rub and would fit my 2k1. You are tempting me, but I would have to sell my TMW GTV first.

That wheel comes only in 18x7.5 and is available in silver/white. I'd have to check on pricing for you if you are interested. The only other wheels that come in the x8 sizing or bigger is the following:

Shadow 18x8 silver or chrome

Onyx 19x8 20x8.5 hyperlight silver or chrome

Storm 19x8 machined or hypersilver

for those interested PM me for pricing.

These are good prices big h. I'm just still wondering why HP jacks it up so much from 18" to 19" Most other companies will charge a couple hundred more, but not double? I mean it's the same finish, same materials, same cast process, same width, just 1" bigger diameter...

Also, will these clear my Precision/Wilwood BBK?

I'll call tomorrow, the 19x8.5's come with a +35 offset...but i will call to see what HP says.

Another company that has really questionable price structure is the Falken Wheels...their chrome prices are $200 extra per wheel = $800 extra per set.

I sure can but it will be in the next shipment, which is 2 weeks away. Hypersilver dark is not as dark as gunmetal you would see on other wheels. but more of a hypersilver color..really cool and the inside of the spokes are silver/black.

I think some of you guys dont know that the difference between 18-19 is more than a rim or tire size. 19's are an exclusive size. You can get tires for 20's cheap all day long, because every ghetto car has them . 19's are exclusive to a few wheels, and cars.........
