The example image you posted earlier with the 2004 maxima, is that considered "gathered" leather right there in the middle, or is that just how it ends up? Also, do these leather seats REPLACE the existing leather, or do they fit over the existing leather? And as far as door inserts go, what do those look like? I might be interested in a set for my 2004.

 

Yes that pic was a gathered kit and its the standard manufacturing procedure, but it can be done smooth like sport leather if you want it that way. These leather seat covers REPLACE the cloth or factory leather covers. The doors are just flat vinyl to go over the cloth...nothing fancy.

Unfortunately....there is quite bit more labor involved so you'd be looking at about additional $250 in labor charges alone. Its a intensive job but well worth it.

Just one front seat would be $250

Our color match is superior and will look good even if the rest of the interior is faded. My recommendation is to get the whole interior done so all the leather matches in color and grain.

Where are the suede colors? I'm looking for a suede in the "driftwood" color (the color that most closely matches a 4th gen w/tan interior's dashboard). If there is one, I'd like to do that with inserts, and embroidery in each seat in sandstone/driftwood suede or just driftwood leather inserts if no suede is available. I'm looking to buy in mid-sept ... what kind of turn around time am I looking at once I pay?

Lastly, I assume the entire back seat is vinyl unless you get the "premium leather" option, yes?

 

The kit is complete as you described. The seats come standard as gathered inserts but the doors are only flat. To get gathered doors as well you would need to upgrade to the premium kit for $85 extra.

I'm interested in the following...
Black leather with Royal blue suede inserts kinda like in the picture below. Is the rear seat real leather or vinyl ? How about door inserts ? I would like the door inserts in Royal blue suede- stiching in blue and MAXIMA embroided in the backrest- suede part in black. How much for a setup like that ? I was going to get some racing seats for my car but decided to just get the leather kit. I'm looking for this type of a look with the blue suede inserts... here is a picture of a 01 Audi S4 interior with blue inserts.

Can you tell me, in your best judgement, if you feel "dark taupe" or "dark slate" are close to the "driftwood" leather color I referred to in my first post? If they are close and you feel might suffice, can I get a swatch sent to me?

To be honest, I'm doubtful they match ... if they don't --- is it possible for you to (or would you be willing to) do a special order in which I go find the suede/color I want and send you guys some fabric? I'm very interested in suede and I don't think any color other than that dash color will look acceptable.

Dark taupe is very close but not close enough in my opinion. Unfortunately we can only work with the material we have. My manufacturer will not accept any other fabric to work with other then what they use.
