1 year on manufacturers defect

 

is it ok for the wires on the back of the t.v. to be exposed when the headrest shroud is removed and the monitor is mounted?

 

also is the black wire already grounded? i wanna hook it to a switch.

Hey guys!! I'm very new to this forum...but I have been reading threads the past two days trying to catch up to speed. I really like the way these screens look. But can this tv work with my ps2? If it does this I am in all the way!! By the way...It's cool to see you guys talk about your cars the way I do!! Not to many people driving Maxima's where I live.

Welconme, yes you can use your ps2 with the screen and any other video source.

the black is not already grounded , but just ground it through the switch

 

so it works with my ps2!! I have a few more questions. Are you guys using a simple power converter and just cutting the plug off and splicing into existing wires? Do I need a modulator for the sound to play through my speakers? I see that the placement of the cd player is different. How is it mounted inside the new compartment? Or is it just sitting there? Go easy on me....remember....I am a rookie!!

 

Yes we are using simple power converters yes you need a modulator unless your aftermarket hu has aux input. Read my sirections in the audio forum

I'm a newbie when it comes to ICE. So go easy...i really want to get this screen cuz it looks hot but i just have the stock BOSE system. Would i have to change out the entire system (speakers included) to have this TV installed or could i just get a reciever with an aux channel? What else would I have to buy to install this to my car?

 

all you need is a reciever, you will need the bose adapter (wire harness ) when installing your new reciever.

I was going to order at the end of the week (payday), but if the wait
is too long between orders, than I'd rather do it now...BUT, I'm not sure
where to ship the screen yet (because I'll pick it up at one of my offices
the next time I travel).
