Just got mine installed. I had to fab up a piece to hold the TV and HU but here it is. I've still gotta make a piece for the hazards and switches. As far as I know this is the first in a 5th gen! RedMax, thanks for the deal and I'm sending you a PM.

hey redmax, i was wondering if i could get a tracking number for my screen. i payed through paypal using r_salalila email address a week ago and im just concerned if i miss the package already or if it is still in the shipping process. also, i provided a PO BOX shipping address but included a physical address just in case you couldn't ship to a PO BOX, i was wondering which address you shipped it to? thanks.

 

Thanks for the screen RedMax... I havent opened It yet but I just got the package... I have a question Thou To wire it do I need a toggle switch to turn it on or off? Because I wanted to hook It up to my cigarette lighter wires would the screen be constanly on? As soon as I get It operating Ill post some pics... Thanks Again!!

hey do u have to use that black plastic piece around teh screen? is it simple to take it off so i can have just the raw screen?

 

No U dont need it the screen couldnt fit with that on anyway...

Beside that quick answer... I just installed my 7" screen today ... It took about 8 hours but thats because I was helping my friend re-calabrate his fuel/air ratio for his supercharged Camry. Yes Camry 2001... It was running too lean (18-20) well between going back and forth with the Laptop and my install It was all afternoon... The Install looks very stock like It was an OE screen... Its great but dont watch DVDs while you drive... I almost ran off the road watching Kill Bill Vol1... The only problem is that I hear engine noise, especially when I push the gas... Do I need to re-ground my DVD player?

the reason y i ask is bcuz i want the screens to be actually flush in headrests...get the leather custom stiched..therefore i'd rather have just the RAW screen itself

Just a quick note, 90% of all the questions in this thread were answered on the first page. Guys, do redmax a favor and read before you ask, it saves him time and everyone else who has to sort through 10 pages of the same 5 questions.
