I'm going to check on the SS pipes and see what we can do. I'll also check and see if we can get it cheaper with over 30 people. Most of the other questions asked are on the website...it has a good write-up about Mandrel bending and all that. I'm also going to update the official list...once I do that, I will put people on that first post of mine when I get their info in the form of a PM.

That better not happen, or NONE of us will get pipes. If you're not SURE you're going to get this then please let me know. If someone doesn't hold to it, I'll post your name and address on the forum so that everyone can go thank you for ruining the deal. haha. j/k, but please don't say you're in unless you are!

"Here's a link that talks about Y-pipes, including how to tell if your car is a Fed or Cali spec."- From Budah
Where is the link? I have a 4th gen 2000 maxima. Where is the link to find out what spec I am?

Sorry

Sorry that was my bad. It's been crazy getting all this together. The first post now has the link, and it says flat out how to tell by looking at your VIN. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other ?'s.

I'm a . Which is plainly obvious. I made a mistak. I know that mine is a 5th gen; just keep typing it wrong. But there is still much I have to learn from others.

i think y-pipe is a major increase regardless of manual or automatic, some say you feel the instant power in the mid to high rpm range, other say you feel it from beginning to end, its a definite improvement that you will feel

I think there are probably more threads on Y-pipes than anything else on this .org. Just go back through the last few weeks and you'll have plenty to read. Also, this is a great link for comparing some of the different mods and where to get them. http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaPerformance
