3rd gen Carbon Fiber Trunk - group deal!!!

Hey, how's it going. Well I have been in contact with Vis Racing about a custom carbon fiber trunk, becuase I am really interested in getting one. But I need to have a group in order to get the trunks made. So please post if you would be interested. Thanks

What we need to get trunks made:

15 people who will deposit half price of trunk
6-8 weeks to make trunks
Price will be between $450 - $550 plus $125 - $150 for shipping.

Please if you post that you will do it, be absolutely positive about it and be able to have the deposit when it will be needed. Thank you!

How much would it be if 1 person wanted the trunk? Also, would it be possible for them to make a 3rd gen hood that looks slightly different from OEM ?

You should talk to them about making a hood instead.... I figure a little competition between them and Fiber images ought to drop the price a tad.

Ok... so I'm just really hoping on that one....

Well I already have the carbon fiber hood from fiber images. But I really like the CF turnks that's why I am seeing if people would want to do it or not. I can not just get 1 unfortunately.

Why not? I've dealt with them quite a bit. If you talk to Tak and tell him what you want he can work it out. All he needs is one OEM trunk to make the mold. If you purchase a trunk from your Nissan dealer and give it to him he should be able to give you a CF trunk free in return (you'd have to pay shipping if you aren't local).

If this sounds like something you want to do I can help you out. Feel free to either PM me or email me with any questions.

VIS Racing is in Monterrey Park, CA. I just barely test fitted and installed a CF trunk for my B15 Nissan Sentra this past Thursday. Here are a few pics. Sorry about the poor quality in the pics (took them with my cell phone).

If you get red X's try this link:

I'll have better pictures within the next couple of days. Going to buy a new digicam today.

correct me if im wrong, but doesn't that hood sem to have a whole cut for the emblem in rear? and also the wholes for the spoiler. if this comes remade when ordered that wouldn;t make sense for people who want to debadge the rear, or have no spoiler. justa word of advice when making these.

No actually there is no holes. It is "clean shaven." There are no holes for the spoiler either. If one is added then the holes can be drilled in.

Props on getting this started, but our cars are already nose heavy, no need to really drop weight off the back end. Some CF fenders would be a better idea.

Oh, and on painting the CF trunk.

The fenders would probably even be a waste of money, when I had mine off at Finishline I could not believe how light they were, seriously less than 10lbs.
