Its a good time to buy, because after the sale, some of our retail prices will be increasing. This is a special for org members, you must ask for the special suspension prices when you call our order line, 800.759.9920 (open 8-5 MST, M-F). More information follows:
KYB AGX adjustable struts are considered by many to be the best performing off-the-shelf strut available for the Maxima/I30/I35 and, better yet, they are the best deal price-wise (if you buy them from us). 4-way adjustment in the front and 8-way in the rear means they adapt to a wide range of ride preferences and spring choices. KYB makes them for the 1995-99 Maxima/I30 and Cattman exclusively offers adapted to fit the 2000-2003 Maxima/I30/I35 (make sure to use a 1995-99 spring set with these).
KYB AGX sale price (and part #):
- 95-99 Maxima/I30 (#AGX4) - $375/set [will be $425]
- 00-03 Maxima/I30/I35 (#AGX5) - $450/set [will be $485]
Progress Sport Springs are a popular US-made product that's every bit as good as the fancy German brands, for a lot less money. They lower just the right amount, 1.7" in front and 1.4" in the rear. The performance is nice and crisp, without bounciness and no hint of droop over time. Lifetime guarantee.
Progress Sport Spring sale price (and part #):
- 95-99 Maxima/I30 (#PPSSG4) - $145/set [will be $175]
- 00-03 Maxima/I30/I35 (#PPSSG5) - $145/set [will be $175]
Cattman Lowered Suspension Package, consisting of the AGX struts and Progress springs, makes a great combination for street or weekend track work. Very popular, the two components work well together. [Add the Progress camber alignment system if dialing in extra negative camber is a requirement.]
Cattman Lowered Suspension Package sale price (and part #):
- 95-99 Maxima/I30 (#PSAGXG4) - $500/set [will be $575]
- 00-03 Maxima/I30/I35 (#PSAGXG5) - $575/set [will be $635]
Progress Camber Adjustment System is our recommendation for simple, quiet and effective camber adjustment. The kit involves 2 adjustment bolts per side rather than the usual one. The kit provides up to 2 degrees of negative camber (more than any camber plate on the Maxima!). These are a useful addition with either the Cattman Lowering Suspension or Cattman Coilovers.
Progress Camber Adjustment System sale price (and part #):
- 95-03 Maxima/I30/I35 (#CMBR) - $60/set [will be $80]
KYB Dustboot/Bumpstop Combination is a great one-piece natural rubber boot that combines dust protection and a bump stop. Fits the KYB AGXs and GR2s.
KYB Dustboots/Bumpstops sale price (and part #):
- 95-03 Maxima/I30/I35 (#KYDB4) - $60/set [will be $70]
Cattman Basic Suspension Package can't be recommended highly enough, because that's the feedback we get from our customers. Combining the two suspension essentials, the Progress Rear Anti-Roll Bar and the Cattman Titanium Front Anti-Sway Bar, nothing we sell provides as much benefit for as little cost - a first and major step towards transforming the Maxima's suspension and the Cattman FSTB really looks sharp under the hood. [Note that the Progress Rear Anti-Roll Bar is only on sale as a part of this set, not individually.]
Cattman Basic Suspension Package sale price (and part #):
- 95-99 Maxima/I30 (#SUSPG4) - $265 [individual parts will total $338]
- 00-01 Maxima/I30 (#SUSPG5B) - $265 [individual parts will total $338]
- 02-03 Maxima/I35 (#SUSPG5A) - $265 [individual parts will total $338]
Cattman Complete Sport Suspension combines the above FSTB, RSB, struts and springs to equal an exceptionally tight and very fast handling package. And there are some great savings if the whole suspension is purchased at once.
Cattman Complete Sport Suspension sale price (and part #):
- 95-99 Maxima/I30 (#SUSPG4 and #PSAGXG4) - $750 [individual parts will total $935]
- 00-01 Maxima/I30 (#SUSPG5B and #PSAGXG5) - $825 [individual parts will total $995]
- 02-03 Maxima/I35 (#SUSPG5A and #PSAGXG5) - $825 [individual parts will total $995]
Cattman-Progress Complete Coilover Suspension makes the sale complete. If you have a friend with a set of our coilovers, you already know how well designed these are - they deliver the best combination of street comfort and serious performance available in any Maxima coilover under $1800. Shortened strut bodies provide increased strut travel for those who really like it low. They're quiet, smooth, and totally transform the way this platform handles.
Cattman-Progress Complete Coilover Suspension sale price (and part #):
- 95-99 Maxima/I30 (#COILG4) - $1200 [will be $1350]
- 00-03 Maxima/I30 (#COILG5) - $1200 [will be $1350]

So these units are bolts then? Not, a Camber Plate such as offered by Stillen. Are there any diffrences between Camber Bolts and Camber Plates?
Also what are the benefits of having:
"2 adjustment bolts per side rather than the usual one"
Will shops that are adjusting camber, know how to tune this setup properly since it utilizes two bolts instead of one?
Thanks.

No, the camber bolts are a whole different approach than camber plates - basically at opposite ends of the strut. Camberplates adjut the position of the upper strut mounts, camberbolts adjust the position of the strut in the lower mount.
Having driven with them for several years, my perspective on camber plates in general (I'm not commenting on any particular brand, but these traits are pretty common) are that they look a lot cooler than they work. Because they essentially tie the top of the front suspension to the chassis with a metal-on-metal interface, they transmit a lot more vibration than the stock upper mounts.
The strut rod comes up through a monoball and the entire weight of the front end rests on the pair --its a high wear situation and if the slightest bit of play develops they will rattle like crazy.
Their adjustability is limited to little more than -1 degree - not enough to run serious autocross tires - because the hole in the top of the Maxima's strut tower is so small but the camber bolts provide much more adjustment. In hard track driving, the adjustments tend to slip in a lot of camber plates (because they're made to look neat, but the little allen-head hardware is not robust enough to really tighten it down.
Camberbolts are simple, and you use them to replace both of the bolts in the lower mounts to double the adjustability. The lower one kicks the base of the strut outwards, and the upper one brings the middle inwards to create the greatest possible negative camber angle. They can be indexed so that you can have the car aligned for the street, dial in the negative camber when you get to the track, and return it to the indexed street settings at the end of track day without getting it realigned.
If the alignment shop knows how to deal with single camber bolts, they should know how to deal with pairs, but it does call for finding a shop or a tech that knows something about aligning exotic suspensions.

Progress RSB
Could you give org members a discounted price on the Progress RSB by itself? We're trying to get a GD together if you're interested in participating http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=289386 Thanks in advance.
If I understand correctly, on my 2001 Maxima I will have to install a set of 99 spring for the rear ? Does the Cattman Lowered Suspension Package AGX-Spring would include 2 front 2k1 spring and 2 rear 99 spring with front and rear AGX ? Anything else I need beside this, does 4th gen upper mount are include in the kit ? Can you please clarify I should buy soon ( when tax return get in )

I appreciate the interest, but as I replied to the GD interest thread, we ran a big group deal in December on the Progress RSBs in anticipation of the price increase (from $110 to $139, which we announced ahead of time).
All of my distributors increased their prices too, and it wouldn't be appropriate to undercut them right away with a group deal.

Your probably aware of this, but just to be clear, you would only install the 95-99 springs on your car if you were using the "updated" 00-03 AGX struts. The only difference between the 95-99 and 00-03 Progress spring sets is the rear springs, the fronts are the same, which answers your question about mixing sets.
You have the choice of replacing or modifying your stock upper front mounts. The only difference is that the shorter threaded section at the end of the 95-99 front struts does not stick out of the 00-03 mounts far enough to screw the retaining nut on, so you shorten the mount about 3/8" underneath where it rests on the strut so more threads come out the top. The modification is explained by intructions we include, its not too big a deal. If you want to keep the stock mounts as they are, then you replace the mounts with the 95-99 version. We sell those by the pair, or you can buy them from the dealer (buy the 98+ SE version in hopes the rubber is stiffer). The darned things aren't cheap, but only use Nissan upper front mounts, we've found others (notably the KYBs) are a real pain and do not function properly.

They're definitely not made to fit the Tokicos, though its possible that they do. Has anyone out there tried them? We didn't know they fit the KYB GR-2s till our customers told us.

We do sell them separately, they're just not sale-priced as individual pieces due to the recent group deal and subsequent price increase.
Regular price on the Cattman titanium FSTB is $195 and the Progress RSB is $139. If you do need both, $265 is a great price.

see cattman, they fit, just like the ones from www.sparkplugs.com, there both kyb dustboots but they have a cheaper price then this group deal

They are not "for" the Tokico illumina's but they will fit on them. I got a set from Cattman himself, and they work great!

Cattman suspension sale extended through Friday 19 March
Response has been good, so the Cattman Spring Suspension Sale goes on till Friday 19 March.
Remember, this is a maxima.org sale, so you have to ask for the sale price. There's nothing specific that needs to be said, just ask for the sale price of whatever is being purchased.

If you guys want to the dust boots cheaper that what Brian is charging for them, get them somewhere else. I can't believe there's so much haggling over $60 boots.
