Hello,

the ebrake boot will most definitely fit the automatic.

Thank you,

what color will match my interior?
i want one but i want to know which one looks stock on my car
i have a light gray interior, deciding between medium gray or light gray
it seems like light gray is too light and medium gray is too dark, you have anything
between? that would be perfect

Hi,

sorry, that's the only 3 we offer, but I'm sure your interior has at least some black in it (wheel?) so if none of them will fit, you can always go with black, it matches everything.

Hello!

We have some VERY important updates to make, so please read through this short post.

We finally have LIGHT GRAY and MEDIUM GRAY leathers available!

They are fully represented on the color chart at http://www.redlinegoods.com/clrchart.shtm. If you click these new colors you will see sample pictures, including some which compare (on the same picture) all our dark (charcoal), medium and light gray leathers to each other.

We have also totally re-vamped our TWO-TONE page (http://www.redlinegoods.com/TwoTone.shtm) - it now has a list of all the two-tone combinations we have pictures for and if you click the respective item on the list, it will show you sample photos.

As usual, we do NOT charge extra for either of these exciting new leather colors, and the prices are $40 shipped for one boot or $60 shipped for a set of two. Here's another 10% discount code to get those prices down instantly: 28RARR886H6

To whet your appetite, here are some sample pictures of some interesting color combinations!

Black/yellow two-tone C5 Corvette automatic:

Thank you!

Just as a heads up guys I bought some awhile back and the quality is TOP NOTCH. You couldn't find a better quality product anywhere else. As a warning though be very careful when trying to re-insert the metal ring, especially on the e-boot. Mine ended up breaking into 2 pieces after i cut it trying to re-install it in the e-boot. Gotta go to the junk yard to see if i can find one or check and see if an auto parts store has a piece of metal i can frame for the e-boot. for pics of the shifter (5-speed) go to http://members.cardomain.com/durtty1

There's a better way. We don't advertise it as it is not exactly very professional-sounding, but I assure you it works just as well... Ever use drycleaners'? Notice their wire-frame coat hangers. Well, those wires are the perfect grade to form the proper shape and use them to insert into the bottom of our boots instead. And you don't have to touch your OEM boots to install that way and with them being inside a leather boot underneath a plastic interior piece, nobody will really know that's what you used.

We don't suggest it as the right way to do it. The right, orthodox, way to do it is to remove your stock frame and insert it into the new boot. But if you're not THAT orthodox, the coat-hanger way will save you some sweat.

Good luck!

Hey thanks but i've already broken my stock one and will try to do the hanger setup tonight. Although the color that I have didn't match my interior (tan), i love this new color much better. But since I will be changing my interior color here at the beginning of the year to white, I will be contacting you for a new shift and eboot cover and also the door inserts and any other ideas/suggestions you may have.

I installed the boots months ago, but I haven't gotten around to installing the armrest cover. It's too big even to go over the stock vinyl cover on a 4th gen, so I wasted some time trying to cut a foam insert for added cushioning and so it would fit. Then I have the problem of affixing it to the plastic top of the armrest. I was thinking super glue, but the real trick will be positioning it evenly.

Does anyone have any advice?

3M makes this spray on glue that they use to stick carpet to sub boxes. that might do the trick with the armrest.

Yes, as I said, I am putting it on top of the stock armrest. It does not fit anywhere near snugly....

I guess maybe it was cut wrong. Why don't you send it back to us so that we can give it another shot? All the other ones seem to have matched perfectly.

Thank you,
Maciek

Thanks, Maciek, I may do that. I'll check it again, but I know it doesn't fit. It roughly fits, but maybe you sent me a 5th gen armrest cover or something like that.

Hi everyone!

Here's a new discount code to buy our boots with 10% off: H2MIX8966K3. As usual, just paste it into the order form while ordering and you'll get the discount immediately.

I would also like to brag with a reference email one of our customers sent us spontaneously a few days ago:

------------------------------------------
I got my shift boot and ebrake boot the other day while I was out of town but I got back today and went straight to the garage to get it in. I've got a few items of input I just wanted to let you know: Your installation tips (mazda rx-7) were pretty much spot on, walked me right through everything.
The boots themselves are great!! Very high quality stuff and the red threading, although it seems subtle, stands out a lot and really adds a nice touch to it - exactly what I wanted! I ordered a bunch of products online (like 5) at the same time, believe it or not yours was actually the 2nd item I got... I don't know if thats saying good about you or bad about the others but hey nice job!
Overall my experience was VERY good and I will definetly recommend you to anyone who asks Keep up the great work!
------------------------------------------

Thank you!

I tried to input the code but it said the coupon expired and I can only get 5% off? Did it actually expire? Thanks

Hi everyone!

I'd like to wish you all a late Happy New Year with lots of car excitement and give you some shift boot color ideas we particularly like - maybe something here will float YOUR boat?

The first one is what we call quadruple thread. Basically there are four, not two as usual, rows of colored stitching next to each other and by combining different colors of inside and outside stitch you can get really cool results. Like red and silver: silver to match an aluminum shift **** if you have one and red for the JDM look.

The second one is another good picture of a two-tone color combination, this is black and blue and this is probably the best picture of our blue leather lately:

As always with us, no extra charge for either one of those options and here's a 10% discount code to make this an even better deal for all us car enthusiasts: U350I8FG72H.

Thank you!
