Interest Thread: Motostorm Udp Pulleys
I am starting this thread to see if there is enougn interest to run another group deal on the lightest maxima pulley on the market..
We have run 3-5 deals on this so if you need info search back into this forum.
Please post if your interested and what price you would like to see.... Obviously we can't go a lower then the past, but if we get enough people we can try to match past pricing.....
Let me know what you all want.. and we will provide...

i have heard on a previous thread that putting a lighter UDP can cause damage...then again it might have been an idiot posting again, but he put a link to a writeup explaining that it is bad for an engine and puts stress on it or something....im kinda car illiterate (learning as a go, just got my max like 3 months ago)
dont flame just reply with input
I would be interested HIGHLY in the gains but i want my max to last....

actually the thread is still up... another UDP GD hehe
here is the link ( http://dinancars.com/html/danger_of_power_pulleys.htm ) , i guess some people argue that it does not apply since the VQ30DE does not have a "harmonic damper" is this false info? or does it only apply to other cars other than the max?
I would really like to hear some facts hehe...

If you read farther down that post, that website DOES NOT apply to our cars, as they are internally balanced, not balanaced with the crank pulley. I would be in on this, but not any time soon (new ticket last night = sucks hardcore).
On my last car, I put over 10K miles on an ASP underdrive pulley, a 1990 300ZX N/A.
Many acquaintances of mine have put 100K+ miles on UDP's without any problems at all.
Also if you look farther down that same thread, someone else correctly points out the flaw in that website.
I hope this clears up any confusion.

Deal will be out soon...
I will check on the % of underdrive but I also know that our pulley is the lightest weight wise on the market today.
As far as the damage is concerned... We have found no evidence that a UDP on a Maxima is dangerous.... NONE
For 04 guys... Contact Brett at PHSInvent@aol.com
